06.01.2022 Once was old is new again!!! Recently making it's debut from our workshop - a beautiful 2.57ct "old mine cut" diamond solitaire ring. Custom designed and handmade in our workshop. The old mine cut diamond is the 'antique diamond' cut that was prevalent from the mid-1800s until the early-1900s. It is the predecessor to the modern diamond but has many elements that remain very unique and different. The beauty, literally and figuratively, of old mine cut diamonds is that they... were all hand cut. Anything that is hand produced, as opposed to mass-produced or laser cut, has one fantastic benefit - every single one of them will be unique. You could say they are the eco-friendly diamond..... It was a pleasure to work with such a beautiful stone.

Venezuela’s economic meltdown had pummelled the proud fishing village, however, with this jewellery mysteriously surfacing on its beach, it's easing the pain of an economic crisis. The jewellery has not been traced, though, through tests commissioned by the New York Times newspaper, found th...e jewellery was likely manufactured in Europe within the past 20 years. Some villagers called the gold a blessing, others a curse that would doom anyone touching it. Once the first photo of the discovery was posted on Facebook, the news spread around Venezuela.
