18.01.2022 I had a buyer who got knocked back on their finance on the first round. They were conditionally approved by a big 4 that told them to sell their house, which they did, but then the bank changed their minds at the eleventh hour. I then rang some people and felt confident there were other options out there. We suggested another lender (on a slightly higher interest rate) but enough to get approved, with the end goal of refinancing to a big 4 in 12 months from now. The import...ant thing was to secure their dream home, and I didnt want to let that slip. We had the right buyer, the right seller and the right property, we just had the wrong bank.
