25.01.2022 Monday mornings in Melbourne. First weekend of eased restrictions, glorious sunshine and some great October numbers for my clients. Cheers to you Melbourne

24.01.2022 Look at these two! I'm SO lucky to have such lovely clients. The energy that they have on camera here is the energy they have every time we speak. Being a business owner means that you can choose the people you want to work with. And honestly, I adore all of my clients. ... I worked 10 years agency and (some) relationships were quite unfulfilling. $50K strategies never implemented (all those late nights, emotion and effort put in there to never see the light of day). A big telco once said to stop asking how they were at the start of meetings. To quote: "cut the niceties, I don't give a s* how you are and you don't give a s* how I am... so let's get on with the meeting". A little bit of me died that day. I'm human. I DO CARE HOW MY CLIENTS ARE! The founders of @quickresultstraining, and pin-up couple that you see in this video, have developed a meaningful membership to help people suffering from mental health. Born from their own personal story, it comes from such a pure and genuine place and I'm so excited to be on this journey with them. I'm rebranding and rebuilding my website (I can't wait to show you all). And, just like we've seen the rise in video content on digital and social, video testimonials are going to be the next big thing (you heard it here first). Why? Because we all know review websites can have fake reviews, and we all know that we can make up the testimonials that we have on our website. Not only this, but we connect with other humans, we can read their facial expressions people trust people. This also makes your brand look more transparent and sincere because you are featuring a real person and not just words on a page. We're all little content creators with mobile phones in our hands and I see large tech introducing something like this in the future.

19.01.2022 Such a nice email to break up a crazy week. Honestly, we have the most caring and wonderful clients!

18.01.2022 Facebook thinks our website is a naughty site and while it's in our developer's backlog of work to fix, we have 3 websites we're about to launch before Christmas, which take priority. For now, you can copy and paste the link, slide into our DMs or follow us on insta for quick win tips.

17.01.2022 I love a good marketing campaign iconic relevant hilarious.... This year's annual lamb ad is all you need on today.

14.01.2022 Picked up by Mumbrella...

10.01.2022 Swapped my office for a mountain today. Best way to blow off some steam before a big week at work: 3 website launches, 2 new marketing suite clients, 2 new websites and getting ready for a new product launch. Huge week, but I can't wait!

09.01.2022 Did somebOOdy say, don't submit before running it past an editor? While Menulog are going viral, it's not something that you want to be getting a lot of attention for and it impacts your brand reputation.

06.01.2022 It's 2020, are you tracking your return on investment (inc. time and effort)? Are you aware every year that Oct-Dec are the hardest months in the digital space? ... have you noticed that the big brands are on concentrating on building their email list? September was an 18:1 month for this client and as we head into Nov/Dec the craziest time of the year for digital marketers (it's incredibly competitive from #ClickFrenzy to #CyberMonday), $8 back into the business for ever...y $1 spent is still a win. For 20 days throughout November, Australia will be a buffet of online sales. At 7pm on 10 November, Click Frenzy kicked off. The next day, inboxes pinged with Singles Day deals. On 27 November, Black Friday will hit (along with its culturally loaded moniker), followed on 30 November by Cyber Monday. The rush to get early deals for Christmas shopping and 2021. Google ads, Facebook ads, Pinterest ads they all go into an auction. When you have more people competing for space, then demand is up, and there are not endless spots for ads (despite you thinking your Facebook is ad after ad). So, what should you be doing? run engagement campaigns, create conversations, know that your reach will be down and if you are running conversion campaigns then CPA will be slightly underwhelming. Lean on your email lists send value-packed emails (the days of wishy-washy 'noise' is long gone) this will help you build up to any sales that you may be having for the remainder of the year because you've connected with your audience and warmed them up. . . . #smallbizau #digitalmarketingaustralia #ecommerceaustralia #facebookadvertisingtips
