25.01.2022 It seems that our need is now walking on high peaks, maybe to look far away in this particular time. There are many beautiful hiking tracks on Southern Lombardy, we went up to 1500 meters on the Chiappo Mountain through the Via Del Sale the ancient paths used during middle age to transport salt (very precious at that time) from the sea to Milan. We also enjoyed a home baked focaccia stuffed with smoked ham and fresh tomatoes slices, simple and tasty

21.01.2022 Hidden gems discovery series continues with a day excursion in Alta Langa the highest part of the Langhe region in Piedmont. Thanks to the altitude (around 800 meters) this is a perfect area to grow hazelnuts, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wine is a delicious bottle fermented Metodo Classico named Alta Langa. We discovered Bossolasco renowned as the village of roses and Murazzano famous for its cheese production. We met some tourists from France and Germany, at the present allowed to travel in Italy. Lunch took place in a super nice osteria with kitchen and we enjoyed tasty local food and Alta Langa wine , all delicious!
21.01.2022 Italy celebrates Ferragosto with many outdoor events. We enjoyed sunset and sunrise among beautiful vineyards in Gavi at Binè Soc. Agricola Winery with a delicious aperitif and dinner, this location is stunning! We admired sun rise listening an emotional live concert organized by Enoteca Regionale del Monferrato. Then Ovada charming town welcomed us with its renowned antiques market and a delicious breakfast

19.01.2022 Hiking across steep tracks we reached a stunning alpine pasture where Graziella and Anna, mother and daughter, live with their families. They live here from June to September with 40 cows and 70 goats and produce delicious cheeses. We bought a tuma cheese aged 4 weeks only and we enjoyed it admiring the stunning landscape and the Mount Rosa. The cheese was tasty with flavor of wild herbs. Graziella and Anna are Walser descendants of an ancient German population who came in these valleys in the middle age.

Our Product Manager Sonia Speroni joined the company of all these amazing women who are waiting to welcome you at their wineries to enjoy awesome experiences. The tasting was focused on wines from Alessandria provinces as Gavi, Timorasso, Albarossa, Moscato, all delicious.

11.01.2022 It’s amazing see how traditions are respected in a small local community up to the Alps between Piedmont and Switzerland. After a delicious dinner we were surprised by an authentic garmon show, the musician is a young and talented local guy. The song is the famous Marina composed by Rocco Granata in 1959, bellissima!
