25.01.2022 O2 Members, We are excited to be preparing the gym to welcome our members back under the regulations for the industry as directed by Queensland Health and Fitness Australia. Due to the restrictions in place surrounding COVID-19, we are unable to offer 24-hour access, changerooms, showers, water fountains and seating areas. Members are required to book 50 minute sessions on the hour to allow for cleaning. Unfortunately, no one permitted into the gym until the session time.... Under the new legislation we are able to zone the gym with no more than 20 people per zone and no more than 10 people in a group fitness class. To combat this we have divided the gym into five zones and members must complete workouts in a specific zone per session. They cannot move between zones. All memberships will be FREE for one week starting on Monday 8 whilst we get use to the new processes and will reactivate again on Monday 15. We understand the new regulations and gym operation will not work for everyone so please let us know if you want to continue to suspend your membership. RULES OF ENTRY Only available during staffed hours Bookings via membership portal No access to the gym before the session begins Must have a towel and water bottle Wipe down equipment before and after use Cannot shower or change at the gym Must keep to social distancing rules and abide by all Covid-19 guidelines Cannot train with a partner unless related or living together If you have any signs of sickness, DO NOT ENTER THE GYM O2 Performance reserves the right to refuse entry of any person STAFFED HOURS Monday to Friday 5.00am - 7.00pm Saturday 7.00am - 2.00pm Sunday 8am 12pm HOW TO BOOK We have a membership portal that allows members to book classes (and gym sessions for the time being), change payment details and update personal details - Go to link and click the Forgot your password link - Enter your email and you will receive a new email to reset your password - Reset password and then log in - Choose your preferred time and book Note: If this does not work please email us at [email protected] as your email may be incorrect. MEMBERSHIP PORTAL LINK: https://o2performance.gymvue.com.au Other than the spin sessions bookings are only available three days in advance. To ensure all members have an opportunity to train please only book one session per day. Additional sessions will only be allowed if availability permits closer on the day of the booking. GROUP FITNESS From Monday 8 June, we will have spin classes available to book however other classes will not begin until June 15. The timetable available via the membership portal. 22.01.2022 With the widespread of Coronavirus. Hygiene has never been so important and everyone needs to do their part to protect themselves and their local community. We are doing our best to make O2 as safe as possible. Using GymLab, a Eucalyptus infused disinfectant that kills 99.9% of germs. We are spraying all Dumbbells, barbells, machines, plates and more to keep the facility as sanitary as possible. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please make sure you are bringing your towel to every session, wiping down equipment after use with our wet wipes found in numerous locations within the gym, and lastly washing your hands throughly and often. 21.01.2022 Revised opening date - June 8! The QLD government announced today that they are bringing forward stage two of their recovery schedule, including opening for gym. We are adjusting our opening schedule to allow us to open as soon as possible. We are also finalising if we are able to zone off the gym, allowing more members in at any given time. We will communicate via email and social media as soon as possible with updates on our training policies, the layout of the gym and how... to book. We strive to provide a clean environment by upholding our hygiene procedures in a routine manner each day within our facility. But we need your help to ensure these measures are as effective as possible! We have a strict NO TOWEL, NO TRAIN policy at O2 in order to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. ... So please don’t forget to bring one along to each work-out and place over all equipment throughout your session (as well as making use of our WOW Wipes found in numerous locations around the gym) as you will be asked to retrieve a towel if found without one before continuing to train. Some of our amazing trainers are volunteering their time to run classes via Zoom to help provide motivation and inspiration for home workouts. There is no cost associated with these classes, they are just a way to stay connected...and sane! A COVID Safe Industry Plan ...was created in consultation with Fitness Australia for fitness facilities that were reflected on the Roadmap. This Approved COVID Safe Industry Plan will be updated to ensure consistency with the commencement of Stage 3. The Fitness Industry COVID Safe Plan is yet to be released. Over the weekend members will still only be able to access the gym during staffed hours. - Saturday 7am 2pm... - Sunday 8am 12pm As of Monday, we will be opening 24/7 again in line with the industry COVID safe plan. We will also be able to open the changerooms and bathroom facilities including showers. Due to the size of the facility, it is unlikely we will need to restrict numbers and members will not be required to book sessions or times to train within the gym. ALL CLASSES STILL NEED TO BE BOOKED. Members will still have to: - Bring a clean towel (no towel, no train policy) - Bring a water bottle - Use hand sanitiser upon entry - Comply with ongoing hygiene standards - Wipe down equipment before and after use - Continue social distancing practices (1.5m rule) - Not come to the gym if displaying any signs sickness Creche will be available for the morning sessions only (8:30am 11:00am) as of Monday July 20. From everyone at O2 we are so grateful for our community and want to extend a huge thank you to all our members for continuing to adapt with us as we are all learning the new COVID normal. 01.01.2022 First of all, we would like to thank all of our members for playing their part and sanitising their hands upon entering and exiting the gym at our sanitising station. Its great to see everyone is taking this seriously. The whole idea is to take proactive precautions towards this issue. As you can see on the second photo, it is a copy of the brochure we have placed around the gym. This brochure outlines fitness protocols that all of us need to follow in order to keep O2 as clean and safe as possible.
