07.01.2022 Hi All You are invited to take part in the LETR Torch Run on the 3rd December from 09:15 to 11:00 to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability IDPwD We are meeting at PHQ 2 Adelaide Terrace and walk/run shuffle down to the Council Offices. This is an inclusive event and will be about walking pace for 2km there is also a pickup point 500 m from the finish to ensure everyone can take part.... Dress for the day is black shorts/leggings and a T-shirt and cap will be provided. If anyone would like to join us please let me know and the size of the T-shirt which can be collected on the day or before from PHQ These are fun days and a great opportunity to interact with the Special Olympic Athletes and police officers The Bocce event at Council Offices will also be open for anyone to attend. If you have a family member/friend with disability this may be an opportunity to meet with Special Olympics Coaches and volunteers.
