25.01.2022 Are you free on 11 April 2020 to help out at the Oakbank Races? We will be working on the front gate and selling drinks tickets and race books to fundraise for the Oakbank Kindergarten. Contact 0419 506 872 if you are free and can help out for a couple of hours

21.01.2022 Congratulations to Julie Schultz, who has been appointed as the Director of Oakbank Kindergarten for the next three years. Governing Council officially welcomes you, and cannot wait to see your big plans for our little kindergarten come to fruition!

20.01.2022 Yesterday we were presented with our new Aboriginal flag, which came all the way from Canberra, by Senator McLachlan CSC. Dan Cregan, Member for Kavel, spoke to us about it being Reconcilation Week, and the importance of looking after and respecting our Peramangk and Kaurna lands, culture and people. Also that we are all one nation of Australia, so he presented us with the Australian flag. What a wonderful sight it was to see both flags flying high on our new flagpoles! ... Thank you to both Senator McLachlan CSC and Dan Cregan MP for helping us celebrate that we are all #InThisTogether2020. #NRW2020

15.01.2022 What a great time we had with our new friends from the Rec / Yr 1 Oakbank Area Juniour Primary class visiting us this week. We shared a music group / fruit time together, but best of all had fun in exploring and playing with all the learning experiences! It’s about building connections and partnering with our community. Julie loved catching up with all her old Kindergarten friends!

10.01.2022 Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who make our kindy truly awesome! From our Governing Council members Dallis (a remarkable 3 yr stint serving as Chairperson), Egija, Travis, Andrew, Sam, Stacey (also for 3 yrs), and Kelli (2yrs), to our parent helpers Kylie, Ben, and Jason, and our community volunteers Sondra and Jenny. A huge THANKYOU!

06.01.2022 How can it be week 4 already? The time is already flying. The AGM is tomorrow night at 7pm at the Kindergarten. Current parents or community members are invited to attend, and encouraged to take up a position on the Governing Council.

04.01.2022 We are making bread rolls now every week together as a "kindy family". We each get some flour, knead our dough in a variety ways, then patiently play while waiting for them cook in the oven. The wonderful aroma fills the kindergarten. Then finally we happily munch (it's very quiet during this time) on delicious warm home made bread rolls! Simply divine! Yummo!
