21.01.2022 Banksias - $7 each spinulosa Banksia spinulosa is a great low maintenance shrub that flowers its head off from autumn to winter, providing a visual delight and a great source of nectar for visiting birds. It is a vigorous grower. The flowers are golden spikes with lovely contrasting brown stamens, and can be used for cut flowers. Tolerant of frost and dry spells, and is also great for coastal gardens. Grows in sun to part shade and is adaptable to most soils types. Also good... for container growing. integrifolia This variable, adaptable and beautiful banksia will grow slowly to eventually attain tree size, and suits many different positions from coastal gardens where it will handle salt laden winds with ease, to inland cooler areas where it is frost and drought tolerant.

19.01.2022 Grevillea Scarlet Sprite - $7 each. Special - 10 for $60 while stocks last. The dense mounding habit of this neat shrub features a prolific display of scarlet flowers over an extended period. The mid-green prickly needle-like foliage is great for providing bird habitat so use this as a feature shrub at the front of the garden so you can enjoy the bird life. It is also very suitable for frosty climates and needs very little if any maintenance. If desired a light prune will lead to an even more dense growth habit.

A frost tolerant dwarf spreading evergreen shrub grown for its golden aromatic heather-like foliage and pink star shaped flowers, Golden Diosma (Coleonema pulchellum ‘ Aurea’ ) grows into a beautifully rounded shrub. Suitable for a full sun to part shade position, this delightful hedging plant is frost tolerant and requires little water once established.

13.01.2022 Correa decumbens - $7 each. This native spreading shrub is tough, easy to grow and has beautiful flowers making it a garden favourite. Foliage is green and bell-shaped, red flowers attracting birds through autumn and winter. It has a low, spreading habit and looks fantastic planted under trees that provide dappled sunlight. Correa decumbens is frost tolerant and performs well in coastal areas.

Pin oak is one of the most commonly used landscaping oaks in its native range due to its ease of transplant, relatively fast growth, and pollution tolerance. Its distinctive shape is considered unique among hardwoods.

White flowers are profuse showy clusters in spring. Approx 1.7m tall. $70.... Sorry but sold out until next season. We have 3 other varieties of Ornamental Pear. Will advertise once they break dormancy.

Use as a mounding groundcover in beds, cascading over banks or walls, or as a pot plant for balconies, courtyards and patios. Best in part shade, prefers cool moist conditions.

02.01.2022 Claret Ash - $70 each. A tall hardy deciduous tree. Perhaps the most striking of all ash trees. Rounded canopy of dark green leaves in summer turning to shining plum-purple in autumn. Fast growing - up to 1.2 metres per year. Useful in parks, streets and large or moderate sized gardens. Prefers full sun and can endure hot conditions if water is available, but best colouring achieved in cooler districts.
