25.01.2022 All of the babies that raced yesterday out having a pick of grass. 11am is nap time here and the first one has just laid down, they will all follow and have a big kip in the sun. I think they are lucky horses out here.

24.01.2022 Our sweet Grace (Halimae) has been sold and will head off shortly to a wonderful new home in sunny Qld where she will hopefully breed a new generation of lovely foals. Will keep track of her progeny, can't wait to see what she does.

24.01.2022 Dear old Kid ran a super race, just beaten by one pitch forked in on the weights and the fact that he doesn't get 1400 and the 1430 on a heavy 9 was just too much! Only the last 20 metres too. Proud of his fantastic effort, he really tried and Jacob gave him a lovely ride.

16.01.2022 Bro, top pic , and Missy both had the disappointment of unsuitable tracks ruining their racing plans this weekend. Too dry for Missy at Morphettville Saturday, too bloody wet for Bro at Gawler today. Weather Gods need appeasing, what do I need to sacrifice!??

09.01.2022 Ended up having a pretty good day at Penola. 4 runners, I winner, two fourths, 1 sixth and a Vic visitor winner to boot. Can't complain, the furthest we got beaten was 3 lengths.

01.01.2022 Our lovely Mary had her first trial today and got her barrier certificate. She behaved beautifully at the races and although she got tired the last 50 she will learn a lot from a nice experience.

01.01.2022 Finally, Bro has learnt how to do slow work, even travelled in a beautiful frame instead of hollow backed and just running with his head in the air. Huge sigh of relief. Great work by Geoff, persevering with getting him to relax.
