25.01.2022 Unfortunately due to Covid 19 the ball is now cancelled and will be rescheduled until 2021. Date to be advised. We will be in contact with everyone who has already purchased tickets. And we will be back bigger & better next year!

19.01.2022 Come train with the one and only Juliano Barbosa (purple belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu). He has had over 13 years of training/ competing both in Brazil and Austra...lia. He was taught all his foundations by Carlson Gracies-black belt coach (Luis Claudio Isaias) and also trained with the icon in Brazilian Jiujitsu, Cyborg (Roberto Albreu) for over 5 years, and is now grappling here is Aus since 2009. He has a world of knowledge on this technical sport- BJJ and LOVES to share it. 11.01.2022 Its with deep regret that we announce the immediate cancellation of the WKA Fight Night & Traditional Skills event of 2020. We will always put our martial art...ists and supporters safety first and in light of the government announcement regarding gatherings of 500 people or more we feel that to continue at this stage would be irresponsible at best. We would like to sincerely apologise to all fighters matched and their coaches as we know a lot of hard work will already have been done. We would also like to apologise to all the mixed martial artists who (as we know) have been working tirelessly on their traditional skills in preparation for May 30. This decision was not taken lightly. Any ticket purchases for this show will of course be valid for a refund. Dates for the next sanctioning will be posted at a later date. Regards, WKA Queensland

07.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the new health recommendations made by the government in relation to COVID-19, Soke Jim and the senior ranks have decided to cancel the ne...xt grading to he held on the 29th of March . This was a hard decision but in the current situation instructor & student safety is of the upmost importance. We hope you all understand that these decisions are not made lightly. To keep the system moving, all gradings that were booked for the day will now be done in house. This means at your home dojo. The test nights will still be on for the Muay Thai and ZEN DO KAI at the normal time, date and place. Any questions are to be directed to your instructor. Thank you for your understanding. See more

Now we arent asking people to sacrifice the whole night to help us, all we ask is for you to help out for a small amount of time when needed. This can include, judging, refereeing, time keeping, ushers or minding the front door.
