25.01.2022 For our members and guests, our phones are now working again.

25.01.2022 From Friday 24 July The Board have introduced the following Rules of Entry. Entry is limited to members only. The Club is accepting membership applications from residents of the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama LGAs (Local Government Areas), who can apply on entry.... Bowling members from other clubs located in the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiamas LGA areas are permitted to enter the Club with reciprocal bowling rights, provided that they have completed and provided the Health Department certificate.

24.01.2022 Awesome Australia Day yesterday at Oak Flats Open Pairs. Thanks to all who made the day run so smoothly such as Phil, Maureen, Geoff, Joy, Sandra, Deb, Leanne, Lyndell and all the great staff. The winners were 3rd Max and Mal Pearson, 2nd Jan Sharpe & Andrew Fogwell and 1st was Chris Cotton & Denis Hitchen.

21.01.2022 Saturdays prepennant bash and Info meeting have to be cancelled as we have 7 teams playing in the zone triples that was rescheduled due to the weather. The info meeting will be held in the middle of March.

21.01.2022 Oak Flats Bowling Club is preparing to re-open our Club. Before we can, we need to test our new CoVID-19 procedures and consult with our staff on the safety of their workplace. The Club will remain closed whilst this testing takes place to assure our compliance with the Public Health Order and the SafeWork Australia guidelines. Over the next week or so we will begin to invite a limited number of members to the Club so we can test our CoVID-19 Management Plan, Emergency Plan a...nd our internal Procedures. We have also consulted with our Licensing Police on how to best stage our re-opening. So, whilst you may notice some members visiting our Club this is in a controlled and limited way to test our plans and procedures. The Club is not open to the public despite some members being at the Club. When we are sure of our safety standards we will open the Club to the public. Our employees are excited about the prospect of returning to work and look forward to welcoming you all again soon. See more

20.01.2022 The Easter Bunny has had a wonderful couple of days delivering a little Easter surprise to some of our regular customers, whilst being able check in to ensure their not too lonely. Like the lovely June who is soarly missing her club, the staff and her beloved bingo. June has found it difficult to play bingo due to fact that her sight isnt what it use to be BUT that was no barrier for bingo caller Deb who set June up with an A3 size booklet of her own. It truely is the littl...e things We do hope that you all have a Hoppy & Safe Easter. We miss you!

17.01.2022 New Government Regulations & Restrictions Commenced Friday 24 July 2020. All customers are strictly required to remain seated and not co-mingle with other tables or groups. This means no walking and talking to multiple tables. Failure to comply to CoVID-19 Safety Rules or obey instructions from the Clubs CoVID Safety Marshall (supervisor) will result in customers being asked to leave.

The winners were:- 1st Brett Sims & Brian Suckley 2nd Mark Behringer & Tom Moore 3rd Barry Deliva & Chris Smith Big thank you to Phil, Maureen, Sandra, Deb, Lyndell and her staff along with Kara and Rob on the bar. Cant forget the umpires, Scotty and Rowdy for the greens.

11.01.2022 Great day at Oak Flats Bowling club with the finals of the Zone Senior Pairs being played. The winners were Wisemans Parks Robbie Smith and Robbie Warren over Towradgi Parks Rod Busst and Dave Roberts with a score of 29 - 12. Congratulations to both teams.
