06.01.2022 New guest review - kind words. What an amazing house - we almost felt like we had been dropped into the English countryside but less than three hours from Perth. The spring gardens replete with wisteria, roses, magnolias and tulips were magnificent. Each day we walked along the old railway track into town for a coffee and walked back. We played music, painted, cooked great food, drank nice wine and read books. It was very 1920's and my only regret was that just was we had rea...ched maximum relaxation we had to leave. Our teenagers were baking scones, painting landscapes and wandering around the property enjoying the gardens. Magical indeed. Come for a reset on a busy life, to reconnect and to relax and nourish. It was a crispy cold weekend and the fires were lit for our arrival with delicious cupcakes waiting for us too! You can walk along the old railway into Bridgetown and there are some great bike paths that start right from the house. A bonfire under the stars was an added bonus.
