23.01.2022 With the rapidly increasing number of cases in Australia and in particular the few around the Riverina we ask that our customers help us stop the spread by maintaining a safe distance while in the shop, just because you don’t have any symptoms doesn’t mean you aren’t contagious, with more and more confirmed cases occurring around the Riverina now is the time to be vigilant. #StopTheSpread #FlattenTheCurve We ask that all customers: - please avoid leaning on or excessively tou...ching the counter to avoid spreading of germs - wait to be served ONE at a time with others waiting a safe 1.5 metre distance away - avoid lingering in shop after you have been served - encourage you to call ahead for your takeaway order to avoid wait times - encourage customers to, if they can to pay by contactless payment to avoid the handling of money (we won’t reject cash as we understand some transactions don’t warrant a card and as staff we are consistently washing hands/using sanitizer immediately after handling cash) - avoid coming in large groups, especially with kids when possible We want to stay open for the community and with your help we hope to do our bit in stopping the spread. These may sound drastic but Australia is currently rapidly increasing in positive cases and we must all do our part.

21.01.2022 The donation bucket was left on the bar following Jeremy’s funeral and the generosity of people warms your heart a total of over $1350.00 was counted bringing the overall total of the donation bucket alone to over $2000 from community members, friends of the family & strangers, and of course the Oaklands RSL and Bowling Club for so generously donating raffle money contributing over $600, that amount is incredible and everyone who donated should be very proud to have helped out a family in such a tragic time, thanks again to everyone who donated

19.01.2022 The Club is a drop off point for any 'non perishable food items', clothing, blankets, toys, toiletries, sunscreen, toilet paper, cleaning items etc. Basically a...nything that we can donate to the RFS (Rural Fire Service). If you can help in anyway it would be appreciated, these items will then be delivered to the RFS Lavington depot for distribution to those in need in NSW. I am sure everyone is across the devastation in Australia and is willing to help these people who have lost loved ones, farms, businesses, property, schools etc. Your generosity will go a long way to helping those in need.
