20.01.2022 I can not thank Michael Sukkar MP - Member for Deakin enough for his time to address our recently held Oakleigh SEC Special Guest Series event. It was an honour and privilege to have him in our electorate and to hear what he had to say. Labor created Victoria’s second wave of COVID-19 through botched hotel quarantine and then lied about it to cover it up. Thousands of Victorians have contacted me to say they want a fresh start. A new government with competence, honesty and that will offer Victoria hope.... They have lined up for you the best ever roster of content and speakers, including our most senior MPs. They'll cover topics like how to handle media, preselection preparation and building your local community connections. If you, or anyone you know, think you might put your hand up to run as a Liberal candidate at any stage in the future, this is the course for you. 08.01.2022 It was a good night for the right side of politics - we held our final "Special Guest Series" event for 2020 with the wonderful David Davis MP and the Legislative Council passed the Liberal Nationals’ amendment, 19 votes to 15, to protect families of deceased sexual assault victims and allow them to speak out about their loved one. It should never have come to this, but - thanks to our amendments - victims of sexual assault will now not lose their voice. Only Labor MPs voted against this protection.
