14.01.2022 An update from our GoFundMe campaign As most of you are aware, during the bushfire crisis, The Oaks Ranch with the help of your many generous donations, were able to raise $15,000 for Mid South Coast WIRES. These funds were crucial for helping the many displaced and injured wildlife and for their ongoing care.... We can happily say that so far, an iPaws humidicrib purchased with the funds is now being used to look after the smallest kangaroo, wallaby and wombat joeys who were left orphaned in the fires. A soft-release enclosure for orphaned wombats has also been purchased. This new enclosure will last for many years and can be redeployed from property to property. It is crucial for the reintegration process of wombats and other animals back into the wild. We would like to say a huge thank you again to everyone who donated We will provide you with further updates as the remainder of the funds are spent. The bushfire emergency is not over yet and this money will be used in due course for items needed by WIRES
