18.01.2022 Not actually sure how to start this post as most won’t believe me! Been a long time since One of my horses has ventured into the open hack world It’s actually been that long that I had to borrow saddle of one friend a bridle off another, plaiting gear off another rider from next door and even someone to plait her with my manky shoulder. Special thanks to all of you. Safe to say when I gave the hack world away everything was sold I have to try and remind myself this fil...ly is 3yrs old and been in show prep for a week (straight out of the paddock) as a last minute decision for Tayla to take her to our local Ag show not to mention in a Big girls bridle - poor poppi was the only one with a mane Tayla Anderson has also been in show prep for a week after never competing on an open horse. Safe to say I’m Super proud of both girls, poppi off float saddle on and into the ring - no work down, gotta love a stock horse. (Lucky coz I ain’t a good strapper) Tayla won her riding - 1st class of the day (even a riding class mount in the making) Poppi won novice, heavy weight and reserve in 2nd ring and was that good she got to spend the rest of the day beside the float.
