24.01.2022 Im currently working on a set of Sailor oars in Taubmans Annapolis Blue and a single oar in our Sailor style also but in the colour Dulux Light Leather. 24.01.2022 Just finished this set of Frazer oars. Details: Sanded back to raw pine. Each end was painted in one of the colours in our range called Beige Royal and the stripes are done in white. Then the oars where sealed in hempseed oil for a natural wood look finish.

21.01.2022 Im currently working on these oars for 2 new lovely clients Jodi & Leon. Details: These oars have had minor repairs then sanded back ready to stain walnut colour to match a set I have previously done in the past. Then They will be sealed with clear shellac then lightly sanded smooth. Then the painting begins, my clients have requested the same look as my timber, black and white oars I have added a photo for you below. ... These will take 1-2 weeks as its a long process restoring them first before painting them but it will be worth it in the end. I will add progress photos along the way as Im progressing along, so you can all hopefully see the end result. #Oarsome_oars

18.01.2022 Two stunning different blues dont you think This is why people freak out if they are not big painters. Its actually the same colour its just the lighter blue is wet paint and the darker blue is dry paint. ... Some people would look at the paint in the tin when they open it and say to themselves this isnt the colour I ordered its much lighter then the colour sample. Bunnings do say paint dries darker but you wouldnt expect this much difference would you. Hot tip; Wait until paint dries and at least two coats to get an accurate idea of the colour depth and shade before you take the tin back and say its a miss tint.

14.01.2022 Im currently working on this set of oars for one of my loyal clients Violet. Details; This set of oars has been sanded back to raw timber and sealed with shellac. The oars will then be painted in our boathouse design in colours cool waters and white. I wont be showing anymore photos until its finished. Im really excited to show off cool waters its such a stunning colour.

12.01.2022 Cray Pot Thinking outside the box on interior design, upcycling unusual items as usable pieces of unique furniture in your home. My husband and I transformed this cray pot into a coffee table/side table, the cray pot was given to me by my parents for my 40th birthday, they brought back to Brisbane from Tasmania in their camper van while on holidays. ... 12.01.2022 Bondi paddles Custom paint for a client at Wynnum ... Details; These stunning paddles absolutely beautiful large paddles and stunning detailed handles will be painted this popular design (refer to photo below of my bedroom) But this time the black will be replaced with this beautiful deep navy blue in the Taubmans range called Annapolis Blue That my client picked out. I think I will be using this colour again its just so beautiful and rich and deep should look amazing on these paddles. The paddles will be sanded back and stained darker then I will paint the navy and white details then sand and seal with wax. Stay tuned for progress photos #Oarsomeoars

All these colours will be available to view in the coming weeks on our website once our colour samples are finished being painted. ... This is a fantastic way to preview the colours once dry and sealed. Please note; All our samples are painted on pine timber and the colours may very on different types of timber also the colours may look different on device screens. I did have Annapolis Blue in my range but I have taken it from my range, and I have swapped it for a navy I prefer more- Harpoon Unfortunately I found that Annapolis Blue was not a consistent navy, the shade was different every time I used it. Unfortunately it was not a reliable colour shade to use. But Im sure you will love Harpoon as much as I do.
