14.01.2022 The steamy November days bring out the best in our gardens. I'm seeing the end of the coloured frangipani blooms and the occasional lively storm, replenishing and invigorating one's soul...love it hate it, the wet season is full of energy.

13.01.2022 Two days out from Christmas and I am still watering the garden! The Carambola or star fruit are flourishing and the garden knows it's 'meant' to be the wet season...plants a ready for downpours!

04.01.2022 This delicate orchid flowers for only 1 day at a time but what a beautiful flower it is! It's very difficult to photograph because the flowers share themselves to each waving stem. This one is growing on a native tree trunk in the front garden and delights each flowering. The name is unknown to me.

01.01.2022 The Desert Rose's grow well in our climate. They are such perfectionists! This one has just shed her seeds and minute seedlings have sprouted. Another gift of Nature!

01.01.2022 The seasons, they are a-changing! The garden and surrounds is really looking forward to the rain. Everything is at the ready with a few more gardening jobs to complete. Thenew passionfruit vine and custard apple tree have been planted and just need a wet season to settle them it. Lime tree pruned and already sporting tiny limes. 4 pineapples get getting to harvest and the carambola/5 corner fruit tree has multitudes of pink blossoms. It is a wonderful time of year with frangipani allburting forth. I have some new cuttings tp plant still and the broms are all being separated, some potted and others planted by in the garden.
