21.01.2022 Meet Jaime Forrest, Guy Rees, Yvonne Hunt and Steve Rowe. These four staff from Salvation Army's WA Youth Services work tirelessly around the year as part of a wider team to help disadvantaged Western Australian youth out of homelessness. Each year, they attend the ball and get to meet many of the generous industry guests whose contributions fund their efforts. Money raised on the night of the ball entirely funds the Salvation Army’s Oasis Independent Living Program, so their work would truly not be possible without your support. From them, and everyone helped by this program, thank you!
20.01.2022 Today on Youth Homelessness Matters Day we take a moment to recognise the hard work of The Salvation Army. Through your generosity at past Oasis Balls, we have been able to support them in keeping disadvantaged youth out of homelessness. If you are in a position to donate and help them this year, please do so at www.trybooking.com/au/donate/oasisball25years We are understanding these are tough times for many. If you’re unable to make a donation but would like to help, please share this post to spread the word. Thank you Salvos for all that you do! #YHMD2020

07.01.2022 During Covid 19 the team in WA Youth Services for The Salvation Army have continued to support all our young people, and young families throughout the whole of WA. They have used a range of different tools to ensure they all feel supported during this crisis and in times of uncertainty. It been really important for all of our young people to feel they have been supported by the wonderful team of Youth Workers. This is their unique way of saying "We are still there for You". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhf0t8ArFp4&feature=youtu.be Remember, you can still donate to this worthy cause. 02.01.2022 As the 25th Oasis Ball nears closer, we take a moment to reflect on the many years of faces, fashion and memories at this iconic Western Australian advertising and media event.
02.01.2022 Due to the Prime Minister's announcement on 15 March 2020 that all non-essential gatherings of 500+ people should not occur, we have cancelled this year's Oasis Ball 2020. We may have cancelled the ball but we still need your support! If you have bought tickets to the event, you would have received an email that your ticket money will be refunded. But, we rely on the night to raise money for the Salvos via our raffles, silent auction, major auction, bar cocktails and photo... booths. Due to the unavoidable cancellation of this year's Oasis Ball, and these activations, we need donations in 2020 to support this very important initiative. You can donate via our fundraising page linked to this post. We plan to be back in March 2021 with our 25th anniversary celebration.
