21.01.2022 I get asked about my own four legged family by my clients. Well Im a school teacher that has owned, bred and shown Vizslas. One day I met a Labradoodle who was a therapy dog at a local high school and I decided to marry my love of kids and dogs. Then Lola the Labradoodle joined our family followed by Billy the groodle who joined Ginger the Vizsla. Lola and Billy will be future therapy dogs. We also have 3 cats and all of my 6 four legged buddies were invaluable during Covid as my students would be engaged everyday!

21.01.2022 Look at these two cuties! Brother and sister that just adore each other. Luna the Staffy just missed her mum so much she thought that pulling the washing off the line would be super helpful! Luna just needed a bit more exercise and some tips to help her cope when Mum was at work.

16.01.2022 Please don’t leave your dogs alone whilst you go away. There are so many options .... boarding , house sitters, taking them with you! You plan your trip so plan for your pets. Having someone coming to your home to just feed your dog is not ok and means your dog is on their own for far too long.

15.01.2022 I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous boy call Beau today. What a superstar! Within minutes of using my training collar he was attentive and walked beside his owners like he had been doing it his whole life. Dont use harnesses folks ...they just encourage your dog to pull.

09.01.2022 Lola the jug ( pug x jack Russell) is a happy girl who was pulling on the lead and reactive to other dogs. Her owner put all my tips into practise and Lola learnt very quickly! With the use of a humane training collar Lola was trotting obediently beside her mum. Don’t use harnesses as they encourage your dog to pull.

Now I love the oodle breeds but when you combine a working dog and a gun dog you will need to remember that both these breeds are highly intelligent and active ! So training is a must and if you put the time in you will get a dog that will be a perfect family pet.
