16.01.2022 We have been closely monitoring Federal, State and Local Government health advice about COVID-19 and our event. Oberon Railway Cars and Coffee still fits the parameters of that advice, so at this point in time the event is still happening. The advice may change between now and the 5th April and we will advise if this happens. Coronavirus is currently not present in Oberon. It would be prudent of us to ask that you observe the advice concerning personal hygiene and keeping a s...afe distance from each other. Further it would be an idea to carry a pack of hand wipes and regularly wipe over your motor vehicle's door handles, steering wheel and other places that a casual spectator might touch. At this point in time don't let the pandemic spoil your day at Oberon. Event date is Sunday 5th April 2020 from 9.30 AM. Venue is the Oberon Station Parking Area in North Street, Oberon, NSW. Stop by for an hour or two and enjoy a very different ambience and have a chat with other enthusiasts. Chrissie's Coffee will be dispensing fine coffee and Sausage Sandwiches and B & E Rolls will be available. The Oberon Station Heritage Precinct will be open and for a small entry fee of $5.00 pp. you can enjoy a guided tour of the precinct and see our fantastic vision for a future tourist attraction. No matter what you drive, we want to see it. All proceeds will go to the Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway Inc. group. See this 1929 Dodge Sedan at the event

02.01.2022 IMPORTANT INFORMATION. As mentioned in our last post, we have been taking advice from all areas of Government concerning the Cars and Coffee event. Advice is changing rapidly and we believe it is now prudent to POSTPONE THE OBERON CARS AND COFFEE EVENT for everyone's safety.... This is disappointing to us as we are sure it is for you. If all is well we are looking to stage the event in the Spring on Sunday 6th September 2020. We are sure you understand the situation. In the meantime keep up your personal hygiene and safe distancing practices - and keep the dreaded COVID-19 at bay.
