18.01.2022 ~GREAT NEWS - COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS EASED ~ Dear Member and Guests, Great news this week with the NSW Government easing COVID-19 restrictions just in time for Christmas.... Under new regulations, the Oberon RSL capacity has now doubled and there is now no cap on Bistro 59 bookings. Members must still remain seated whilst enjoying food and beverage when inside the Club. So now you can enjoy the Ham raffles every Friday and Sunday until Xmas and also the Christmas toy raffle on Sat 19th Dec from 5.30pm with your host Sharron Bowman In further good news, the NSW Government has eased the restrictions on dance floors with up to 50 people now permitted to get your groove on. To celebrate, we’ve booked a duo from Sydney called Crushed Ice for NYE. There’s now no reason not to get along to Oberon RSL and celebrate the festive season! 13.01.2022 Tonight on Channel 9 news it stated Pubs and Clubs to open attached to restaurants and bistros ... the guidelines as the industry understands it as this point in time are this: 10 people only in the Bistro at one time NO bar or any other services ... Stay tuned for all the devil in the detail ...BUT as most would understand 10 people is just not enough to pay the bills... Oberon RSL General Manager has stated publicly lets go straight to stage 3 after stage 1 with STRICT social distancing.. something that will be with us for while, lets show that we can be carful and sensible with this horrible virus.. nothing more than the shopping centres etc are already allowed.

11.01.2022 The Oberon RSL Squash Courts will be open for social squash from tomorrow Friday 18th Sept 2020 the following are some of the rules that apply: 1. You must swipe your membership card at the kiosk at the Club foyer on arrival. 2. You must book prior to your arrival by calling the Club on 6336 1607 or email [email protected] , please endeavor to book at least 24hrs in advance to avoid disappointment, please provide your name , the amount of persons playing and any spectat...ors names plus how long you need the court. 3. Please follow all the Covid 19 rules and regulations as per the Community Sport safety plan. 4. Please keep the 1.5m social distancing at all times. 5. The showers are not to be used. 6. You must leave the squash courts and surrounding area straight after you have finished your game. Thank you for your understanding in all these matters, and enjoy your Squash

07.01.2022 Attention all Squash players: The AGM for the Oberon Squash Club will be held at the Oberon RSL this coming Wednesday 16th Sept at 6.30pm, after this meeting we will then be able to open the squash courts for social play etc. There will be a post on Facebook on Thursday 17th Sept outlining the conditions of usage for social games.... It is very important that a committee is elected for the Oberon Squash club so could everyone interested please attend. Also please adhere to all social distancing rules re Covid 19 when in attendance of the Club
