18.01.2022 Dear Fellow Community Members Our ongoing priority is the safety and well-being of our staff, our customers and their families as we all navigate this COVID-19 pandemic together as a community It’s business as usual for the O’Brien Electrical Greenwood team, so should you have any power, lighting or general electrical issues, feel free to give our team a call. Rest assured that our team are following strict hand and respiratory hygiene protocols, as per current government gu...idelines Our plan to protect our clients and our team Our office team will ask at the point of booking if the occupant/s is sick, been in contact with someone who is sick or if they have been overseas in the last month and have completed a self-isolation period of 14 days. When onsite, prior to entering a property, we will ask the occupant the above questions again. Prior to entering the property we will ensure that our hands are clean and sanitised and the equipment we are using has also been cleaned and sanitised. We will not shake hands, touch pets or accept drinks from clients whilst maintaining proper social distancing. We will ask for a work area clearance of 4 metres square during completion of work. We will spray and wipe down all surfaces we have touched with sanitiser upon exiting the property including; benches, phones, equipment, electrical meters, ladders etc. We are ensuring our vehicles steering wheels, gear sticks, door handles etc are sanitised between jobs to reduce the possibility of transmission. We also have onboard coveralls, safety glasses and gloves as per our current COVID-19 safe work management plans. If a client is sick upon arrival at a property If a technician encounters a situation where the client is unwell and hasn’t informed us to reschedule, our technician will have to return to their vehicle and contact their supervisor immediately. We will make a case by case assessment based on our documented risk plans to ensure safety of our team, however we will keep our client informed all the way. Full PPE including coveralls, gloves, safety glasses must be worn. Our plan in case of a lockdown In the event that our community goes into lock down, we will still be available for emergency electrical call outs to restore power to homes and make properties safe, unless directed otherwise by our federal government. Non- urgent electrical issues such as general property maintenance however will need to be postponed until we are notified by the government it is safe to continue with these works. 11.01.2022 Hello to our northern suburbs,friends its hump day and we are hard at it installing the first of the seasons split system AC units. And getting ready to start our AC service's scheduled for some of our commercial customers next week.
