17.01.2022 When I was a kid. My father had a carpet cleaning business that serviced the Sutherland Shire. (We were living in Helensburgh at the time). I used to walk around and deliver leaflets. I think I got 1 cent per leaflet delivered. When I worked with him I got $4 per hour. One client we went to was at Jannalli. She was old and kept dogs in the house, so there was poo all through her carpet. I went in and just about through up, so did my dad. But my Dad went in and cleaned the carpet while I stay outside. I will always remember that, sometimes you have to put up with other people's mess to feed your family.
