19.01.2022 Volvo 850 T-5R Volvo's are not in our usual wheelhouse but a change is as good as a holiday in this case. Starting with the exterior, bumpers and door moldings were removed and sent out for paint. Paintless dent repairs sorted any lumps and bumps. Most of the horizontal surfaces had some excessive peel, wet sanding sorted that. Followed up by Swissvax Pro machine polishing. ... In the Engine bay the browned and cracked factory lacquer was painstakingly removed. Steam cleaning helped flush out any dirt, Swissvax rubber and plastic treatments dressed it nicely. Inside the Alcantara and Leather steering wheel was reconditioned with Colorlock products and a Alcantara scrub and shave. All remaining Leather, vinyl and plastics were cleaned and Swissvax treated. Finally, chip touch ups, bumper and moulding refitting with new factory rivets and a thick coating of Swissvax Concorso wax sealed the deal. #volvo850 #swissvaxcarcarecentre #qualityoverquantity #ocd

18.01.2022 HSV VS GTS This beautiful Diablo red GTS came in for an exterior detail. With an extensive Swissvax Pro machine polishing we sorted out the excess coating deposits, Ceramic coated in polish leftovers, wet sanding marks and fixed up the swirls. A little wet sanding was deployed to sort out some runs and blend out a touch up we performed on an old burn through. ... 17.01.2022 HSV VP GTS Birthday Surprise We were asked to help find a suitable vehicle for a good customer for her husbands 40th. Happy to assist, and with a tight deadline we scoured the country for the final candidate you see before you. ... A lot of video conference's , pictures and inspections later we were lucky to purchase this one from a large collection over east. After some shipping delays, the car arrived around 9pm on the Thursday before the lunchtime Sunday deadline. In the 2.5 days we accomplished: -A thorough wash and engine bay cleaning - Strip and re-tint , thanks to TKO Tinting - 4 new era correct tyres - Interior detail - 25 hours of paint correction - Swissvax Lotos speed sealer - Paintless dent repairs - License and rego. - custom tailored car cover It was chaos filled time but we were happy to help and hear the elation in the client's voice after the surprise. Round 2 With some unfinished business on the car we recieved it back to complete all the last tweaks. A thorough clean and polishing of all inside edges along with chip repairs got it ready for its final coating of Swissvax Glacier wax. Rims were refurbished, factory PPF was templated and removed to make way for fresh Suntek film. Interior was shampooed and we performed leather repairs to the drivers bolster. 16.01.2022 Mitsubishi Evo VI Tommy Makinen edition This fresh import was in need of a major clean up. ... Interior was shampooed top to bottom with a A/C deodorizer treatment and Swissvax protection matt for all plastics. Windows had heavy acid rain etching, compound machine polishing rectified that. Engine bay and all inside edges were particularly filthy, so several hours were spent cleaning those back to new. After Paintless dent repairs fixed the lumps and bumps we set about perfecting the typical thin Japanese paintwork. Swissvax Glacier wax locks in the hard work. Wheels and calipers are now benefiting from Max Protect High temperature glass coating. We were very excited to get these two rolling artworks together for a photoshoot.... and some detailing. Whist the Ferrari was only in for minor paint corrections. The Aventador had a significant makeover. Full paint correction, full interior detail with the gauntlet of Swissvax treatments. Suntek PPF track pack protection, including full front, sides and custom templated matt clear film for the air ducts. We searched high and low for a suitable yellow for the rim perimeter stripes we installed. Finishing it off with Swissvax Endurance wax, for a fantastic long lasting wet look. 06.01.2022 VL Group A SS HDT This beauty was an extensive restoration for an overseas client. To start the project we sent the car off for mechanical repairs and dyno tuning with a HDT authorised specialist. Our friends at Automatic Trans R Us helped us out with a freshly rebuilt power steering rack. Next was panel and paint with a new nose cone, genuine LE side skirt fitment, and lower half respray. Paintless dent repairs were adequate for the small remaining defects. ... Dirty jobs now out of the way we got stuck into the interior. The steering wheel was shipped off for retriming, a full shampoo top to bottom removed decades of build up dirt, and a vinyl and plastic scrub and protection treatments sorted the rest. There is comfortably 50 hours in wet sanding, machine polishing and chip repairs throughout the exterior and inside edges. All new decals are now fitted in the correct positions. Swissvax Concorso wax was applied to seal the paint and give a show quality pop of gloss. Used Calais boot carpets were with the car but were never installed, so we extensively shampooed them, cleaned and sealed the boot paint, then fitted all the necessary velcro strips to convert the boot to Calais spec. Finally the engine bay was detailed throughout with Swissvax rubber and plastic treatments.
