Using what you have on hand Bedside table - old suitcases Artwork on walls - an old calendar Bed head - old shutters Lamp - old base and uncovered lampshade with vintage globe... Knick knacks - an old light fitting and old books of my Nanna's and my own handmade candles Yes, we have moved again and still taken a lot of our crap with us but it is always worth it when you get to use your old things to make a room look like new

22.01.2022 Just a few projects coming up to keep us out of trouble The van will tow the caravan and will be handy for markets and carting my stuff around but also perfect as a beach shack to camp at many of the amazing beaches near where we live And the old oven is going to be part of our gastronomic extravaganza in our little courtyard making pizza and all sorts of awesomeness!!

05.01.2022 Chalk painting furniture has become an obsession!! This was a cheap dark wood look, particle board, 90's China cabinet that I couldn't make work with my furniture, so a slap of paint and wallpaper and a lot of sand papering, I made the ugly duck transform

03.01.2022 I have been wanting to paint these bedside tables for ages but have been too scared of brush marks, then I discovered chalk paint! There were still brush marks but I could lightly sand them out and distress it for a cool, flat, shabby chic look. What do you think??
