21.01.2022 LARP CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT Creating a Larp character can be quite a challenge - everything is up to your imagination but it also needs to fit into a certain set...ting. GET INSPIRED So maybe it can help you to see how other Larpers have developed their characters. Meet "Harald Griesmann", Templar of the Sigmar Order and witch hunter at the Epic Empires larp event in Germany. CHARACTER IDEA The inspiration for this character were classic witch hunters, such as Solomon Kane, Geralt of Rivia or Van Helsing. Imagine a precise and analytic "detective" with a huge portion of fanatism. In order to give him a dark, sinister and serious mood, he has absolutely no humour. So the character will never smile or even laugh, which can be pretty hard for the roleplayer behind it, of course. COSTUME AND EQUIPMENT Most parts of this outfit have been crafted by the larper himself. Even the wooden glasses were custom made and inspired by historical ones. They contain actual progressive lenses, so the larper can see perfectly even in his hobby. Wanna be featured, too?
