25.01.2022 Masks have not been made mandatory for indoor recreation facilities, however we do recommend spectators wear a mask when entering our facility to watch. Strictly one spectator per Ninja. Due to social distancing, our indoor seating is extremely limited. Everyone must sanitise at the front door on their way in.... One member from each family is required to sign themselves and their kids (all spectators and participants) in on the COVID Visitors Log on their way in. 21.01.2022 UPDATE We have received clarification from the NSW Office of Sport this morning that masks are not required for Indoor Recreation Venues. While it is not required, all individuals coming into our venue today are welcome to wear a mask if they would prefer. 20.01.2022 NINJA TOURNAMENT - EXCITING NEWS! Our next Ninja Tournament run on 5th and 6th December is going to be an Australian Ninja Games (ANG) Qualifier. What is Australian Ninja Games (ANG)?... ANG is the Australian League for Ninjas. ANG holds State qualifiers around Australia which allow you to qualify to compete at Nationals and then Worlds (if you qualify at Nationals). Nationals is tentatively scheduled to be held on the June long weekend in 2021, location TBA. Worlds is usually held in America but due to COVID, may be delayed. What does this mean for you? You will still compete in our tournaments as normal and we will still award top 3 male and females in each category. We will also have a separate leaderboard based on the ANG age groups. 50% of each age group, male and female, automatically qualify to compete at Nationals if you choose. The age groups are as follows - - 7 and under - 9 and under - 11 and under - 13 and under - 15 and under - Adults 16+ (Pros/Amateur/Masters 40+) * Age is determined by how old a competitor is on January 1 2021. 14.01.2022 Congratulations to Nathan Marsh for heading to the Gold Coast this weekend to compete in the Spartan Race Australia/NZ Trifecta Weekend. On Saturday Nathan raced in the 21km Beast, battling what has been labeled as one of the hardest Beast courses Spartan Australia has delivered. He achieved a well deserved 8th place in his age group. On Sunday was the 10km Super. Up against the increasing heat levels Nathan finished in an incredible 3rd place for his age group! ... Unfortunately due to a very battered body, feet and total exhaustion he did not compete in the 5km Sprint. But we are extremely proud of what you’ve achieved this weekend. Your obstacle training is clearly paying off with ZERO BURPEES in both races!

06.01.2022 We would like to welcome Sam to the OCR School Team! Sam has been training at OCR School since we first started doing kids classes back in 2014. He currently trains in our highest level class, Elite Ninjas. His dedication to his training and natural ability for the sport has seen him succeed in numerous Ninja Tournaments. Sam’s most recent tournament saw him up against adults where he placed a very strong 8th. Previous tournaments have seen Sam podium frequently including 1st... in his first ever Tournament in 2018. It has been a waiting game for Sam to start racing as most of the events require you need to be 14 years. He was however lucky enough to travel with his Mum and the OCRS team to Canada and watch the OCR World Championships in 2017 and participating in the Charity Wave. He has also run through several Spartan’s and Raw Challenges with his Mum, but we can’t wait to see him race solo and competitive in 2021! We look forward to having Sam join us and pass on his years of knowledge to anyone who is lucky enough to be trained by him!
