20.01.2022 Labels make things so much easier . . . .

19.01.2022 So after cleaning, I get the urge to cook/bake and I love trying new recipes (and some old ones!) KitchenAid

16.01.2022 The start of a new week's is almost upon us... Time to meal plan, do shopping list & organise the week ahead

12.01.2022 Perfect day for the washing.... Sun to kill bacteria and wind to dry!

12.01.2022 If you've been wanting to get organised but don't know where to start (yes it's overwhelming!) start with... just ...ONE SPOT...whether it's a draw, a cupboard, a wardrobe...whatever it is... pick one spot and stick to it. Start small, like a cupboard in the kitchen or bathroom, and figure out how that space would be best used (I wanted potatoes, etc in a dark cool place) Get inspiration from the web and use whatever suits YOUR space...we all have different sized cupboards, draws, rooms so you may not get exactly what that person has... so make it work for you... one place at a time

11.01.2022 I'm a believer in making things easy - and I don't find hair or make up easy... or quick for that matter! So I've invested in this automatic hair curler which does the job for me. Don't need to think too much about it - simply put your hair in, press the button, and take your hair out - can't get much easier. Now onto other things in my life...... Wylera Hair

09.01.2022 Clear containers are great for seeing what's inside, and it also tells you what to put on your shopping list next. I try make everything easier for myself... even though it takes a bit to set up in the first place, after that, shopping lists, school lunches and dinners are a breeze... that's if everyone puts everything back where it belongs!?

09.01.2022 When I feel like trying a different recipie I go to my favourites NatashasKitchen.com and Cafe Delites They always have amazing food which is fairly easy to cook and is literally packed with flavour. Tonight's one was Butter Chicken with home made garlic naans (and I don't mean homemade using the jar of sauce from Coles!)... This was amazing and actually better than my local place! I love that you can cook these restaurant quality meals in your own home! Try shake things up in your own home...my family have not turned down any one of their recipies so far!

09.01.2022 My kids love bubble tea when we go out, but it's so expensive (plus the shops are shut)! So I buy from the wholesaler in Clayton and we make it up ourselves. The tea jug is from T2 and we just make black or green tea, cool it, then add the milk, syrup and pearls. You can make the pearls but well...it's more work! Sunwide

09.01.2022 I wanted to share a simple recipie that's a hit with my kids. I have one child that will eat most things, and another that is super fussy but they both agree on this the one! Simple ingredients and quick to cook Cafe Delites

08.01.2022 I can't stress enough how important it is to be organised...not only does it make things "easier" for you... but it takes so much of that stress away from not knowing what to do, not knowing where to start, and feeling like you've achieved nothing. Organising is like having a plan, if you have a plan, you know where to go. You can start somewhere and arrive at a point that makes you feel you've achieved something. Yes it takes time to begin with, but once it's done, the rest... is all sailing from there. For example, each day I write what items we've run out of on my Shopping List board. Then when I come to do a big shop, i've already done half the work. Each food tub or container is labelled so I can clearly see whats missing and what's full already. Dinners are worked out in advance so I know what I'm cooking and what I'll need on that shopping list, so there's no extra shopping trips to buy things (which is a temptation to buy more things!) hence saving you money. The kids have their list of jobs to do each day and when they mark it off they can have some sense of achievement that they've helped. You can chose whether to reward your kids for these jobs. Sometimes I do, but most times I believe it's good training for them to work just for the sake of helping out their family and not because they want a prize or money. There are so many free printables online which you can print at home and get yourself organised. What do you think .... Is it doable? Would this work in your family?

08.01.2022 If youre after someone to help you style your home, Mini & Joey are awesome at knowing what to put with what. Shenise will help you find your particular style and help you achieve that by giving you a list of items to buy. It's hard to achieve that "display home" look and it takes skill to achieve that, so hire someone who knows what they're doing

05.01.2022 One thing that makes me happy is to see nature - whether it's flowers or plants or even just grass...I put it everywhere.... it somehow takes the daily stress away and reminds you of life.... just basic life... We are a quite normal family (my house isn't always perfect either!) - we have kids which equals mess, we have been through all life's roadbumps .... family/friends deaths, suicides, miscarriages, mental illness, depression, ill & ageing parents, financial issues, phy...sical setbacks, betrayal from close friends, and yes all the other stresses and anxieties that the world throws at you... but you know what? If you can do things that make you happy and remind you of how delicate life is, it will remind you to put all that behind you and just be happy... be happy with what you have... be happy with those who support you... and be around people who build you up ... and remember - you're alive, appreciate that See more
