20.01.2022 The team at Curtin University are excited to announce that our OCD Not Me! online program is back following some website updates and changes. The program is designed for 12-18 year olds with obsessive-compulsive symptoms, but participants of other ages are welcome to access the program. Families can also complete the program as a self-guided option, or with their therapist if they are currently engaged with another service.... Please be aware that as this is a fully automated program, we do not provide guidance, support or recommendations for suitability. Please visit the FAQ section or complete the screening process online to see if the program is suitable for you or your family member. All materials are currently provided free of charge.

14.01.2022 Are you, or do you know, a parent of a child or adolescent with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)? Researchers at Curtin want to learn about parents’ perspective of caring for a child with OCD. Parents or caregivers of children and adolescents aged 7 to 17 years, who have been diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, are invited to participate in this study which aims to answer the question What is it like to stand in the shoes of parents of youth with OCD? Particip...ation will involve a single 60-minute individual interview. The project is being conducted by Ph.D. candidate Ms Angelica Lopes under the supervision of Professor Clare Rees and Dr Rebecca Anderson. The results of this research project will be used by Ms Lopes to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy at Curtin University and is funded by the University. There is no cost to taking part in the interview. Participants travelling to Curtin for interviews will be reimbursed a total of $20 for travel and parking expenses. Distance interviews can be arranged for those not based local to Perth.
