22.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE // With the increase in COVID-19 cases within Victoria and to avoid possible transmission of COVID-19 into our home from 11:59pm on 17/7/20 only essential and compassionate visits will be granted to our homes. You will need to make an appointment prior to visiting by calling Ocean Mist Aged Care. This will be reviewed after the 31st of July 2020. Please share the following with friends and families. 20.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE // Residents are able to welcome up to two visitors at a time, for an hour and up to three visits per week. Where there are two visitors at a time these visitors must ordinarily reside at the same premises. These visits do not need to be booked in advance. However we do request that visitors arrive between 10am and 10:30am for the morning visit, 2pm to 2:30pm for the afternoon visit and 1pm to 1:30pm for the Saturday visit to allow appropriate time for screeni...ng. Residents are able to welcome up to four visitors at a time in a nominated area of the home. These visitors must ordinarily reside at the same premises. These visits are limited to a maximum of 1 hour per visit and must be booked in advance. Changes to the Visiting hours are as follows: Monday through Friday 10am - 11:30am Monday through Friday 2pm - 3:30pm Saturday 1pm - 2:30pm. Visitors must not move freely about the home when visiting. A mask must be worn at all times when visiting the home. As such no food or drinks are to be consumed during visits. Social distancing must be maintained at all times during visits.

17.01.2022 Ocean Mist Aged Care continues to adhere to the information provided by the Chief Medical Officer and the Australian government. We remain on strict visitor restrictions. If you would like to speak to a manager please call the administrations desk on 5261 6709 and ask for Kerry, Elaine or our Incharge staff. If we are unavailable at the time we will return your call. Our priority is the health and safety of our residents and also to keep families and residents in contact with... each other. We have access to iPads or mobile phones if you wish to talk to your family online. We also have Facetime, Skype and Zoom available. Calls during office hours are preferred Monday to Friday. We are also in the process of working with CareApp in order for you to ‘virtually’ connect with your family members. An email with further details will be sent out shortly. We are continuing to strictly follow the advice provided by the department of health and the Australian Government. Our staff will assist in keeping you connected.
