18.01.2022 Thankfully even in lockdown, you can still enjoy the wonders of whisky! This week we recommend The Glenlivet Distillery. Glenlivet is a whisky for people who enjoy spicier, oak driven flavours. There’s an early nose of orchard fruits and aperitif appeal but don’t be fooled as the palate fills out into intense cinnamon, clove and drier oak. At cask strength these whiskies are like a velvet hammer, sweet and rich on the nose, dry on the palate. Ocean 12 boasts an exquisite collection of whiskies. We have 16 main distilleries as well as many handpicked old and rare bottles you won't be able to find anywhere else in Victoria. 12.01.2022 Believed to be the most expansive collection ever released by one distillery, ‘The Family Casks’ is an exclusive collection of 43 vintage-dated singled casks whiskies. The Family Casks collection encapsulates the essential character of Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside, Highlands, Scotland. Each bottle tells a unique story through a complexity of aromas. Our Whisky Bar features the 1992 Glenfarclas The Family Cask Strength Malt Scotch Whisky. Distilled in 1992 and then placed into Sherry Butt #862 before being bottled in Spring 2017.
