25.01.2022 SUNDAY 30 AUGUST 2020 - KITCHEN CLOSED THIS SUNDAY - BAR OPENING AT 1.30PM Due to the OBSLSC Annual General Meeting being held this Sunday 30 August 2020 in the Function Centre, the kitchen will not be opening. The bar will open from 1.30pm at the end of the meeting.

21.01.2022 Ocean Beach SLSC is pleased to announce that we have registered as a COVID Safe Business As a requirement of registration Ocean Beach SLSC has been required to document a COVID Safety Plan (which we have had in place since June) which complies with current Health Safety Orders and regulations. This plan is constantly updated with the ever changing restrictions that are imposed. As a consequence of this plan Ocean Beach SLSC is required to provide a COVID Safety Marshall who’s... role is to ensure that: 1) social distancing guidelines are adhered to 2) a register of members and guests is kept and each member and guest signs in on arrival 3) cleaning protocols that have been put in place are undertaken 4) all members and guests are seated whilst on the premises The consequences of breaching orders are as follows: Penalties and fines Any business found in breach of the Public Health Orders could face a penalty of up to $55,000 and a further $27,500 penalty may apply for each day an offence continues. On-the-spot fines can also be issued. Liquor and Gaming NSW also have the power to enforce the following penalties: first offence: $5500 fine or relevant penalty for breach of the Public Health Order second offence: Business will be closed for one week third offence (repeated and willful non-compliance): Shutdown for up to one month As the oldest surf lifesaving club on the Central Coast and with a primary focus of saving lives Ocean Beach SLSC has and will always put the health and well-being of its members and the community as a number one priority above all else. So we ask you to please assist us during these unprecedented and uncertain times to respectfully follow the directions of the COVID Safety Marshall and adhere to social distancing requirements so that we may continue to provide an environment for the members and the community to SIT BACK RELAX ENJOY
