24.01.2022 What a way to finish off the year, the Coledale build is almost finished. You get a sense of pride standing back and looking at the creation you have built for someone. This is not a home that can just be slapped up in 2 months, it takes massive planning and dedication to be able to provide such a top end finish and I am very proud to say we achieve that time and time again at Ocean Edge Carpentry. 23.01.2022 Here are a few updated pictures from 11 Cater St, Coledale that our company has been building. IKKY Joinery is responsible for the lovely hardwood window frame. Stringy bark floors are down and we have started the internal linings with plywood. Please excuse the brown stains on the exterior of the house, this is a result of the rain hitting the unsealed hardwood window frames and running off, onto the cladding boards. (This gets professionally cleaned off when the job is complete) #highendcarpentry #OEC #oceanedgecarpentry

14.01.2022 The 1st of November was my wife and I's 5th year wedding anniversary. Timber is the 'traditional gift' for a 5 year anniversary. We shopped around many places to buy a hardwood table but they were retailing at about $3200-$3800. Knowing I could beat that price, I decided to make my wife a table. The blackbutt timber and legs used were all sourced locally. I did all of the joinery work, sanding & finishes on this beautiful table.
