20.01.2022 Saturday Sips with Isaac Fryar. Southern Bay's brewery is located a stones throw from Geelong in Moolap. These guys are responsible for brewing many beers for other companies, as well as their stunning range of Southern Bay beers. This particular offering is a seasonal variety, only available for a few moths over the Winter period in the larger 500ml bottle. Trust me, the bigger bottle is the perfect size! The stout is a rich, dark ale that crams no less than eight specialty ...malts, oatmeal and vanilla into the mix. It's a combo that creates an aroma not dissimilar to the creamiest milk chocolate, and equally as tasty and addictive! I find the stout best enjoyed on a cold Winter’s afternoon, or with dessert after a hearty meal. Don’t sleep on this one, once it’s gone it’s gone until next year. 4.5 out of 5 from OGC!
