05.01.2022 We have made the tough decision today to cancel our Ocean Harvest Festival which was scheduled for the 8th August at the Coffs Harbour Fishermen's Co-operative Ltd. It was a sad call to make given the inaugural event last year was a massive success, but there is still so much uncertainty due to Covid-19. Although restrictions in NSW and around the country are easing and is welcome news for us all, there remains a significant amount of unknowns surrounding the future of large ...public gatherings and festivals like ours. And with some state boarders still closed, travel is highly unlikely for a lot of people. The hard thing is we cannot predict what restrictions will be in place in August when Ocean Harvest was due to go ahead. The government still does not have a road map for reintroducing gatherings of more than 100 people, and health experts are warning it will be a long time before festivals can safely return. We need to be mindful that investing in advertising and infrastructure costs for this event is just not possible right now. We look forward to hopefully seeing you all again soon as we sure do miss our tasty events. Stay safe The tasty team x
