08.01.2022 An all-female crew for JQ688! It’s not often we are able to have a complete female crew as the front and back of house Ground Handling team. However, when it does occur, we love to see everyone in action and working fantastically as a team. A great team effort in Ayers Rock as the team did a faultless job of working with Jetstar flight JQ688.... We can’t wait for the next one! (Note: All staff without ‘Over-Ear’ hearing protection were using inner ear hearing protection plugs.)

05.01.2022 Earlier this month Fiji Airways saw an increase in flights due to the additional need of more freighter services. Going forward, the Oceania Aviation team at Sydney Airport will be handling two Fiji Airways flights every second Friday. 05.01.2022 Team BNE (Brisbane Airport) are currently in full flight with Fiji Airways as they assist with the Ground Handling requirements on a regular basis. Recently, the Oceania Aviation team provided assistance with loading freight of disposable face masks which was to be delivered to Tonga for UNICEF. Whilst on the tarmac, our experienced team at Brisbane Airport noticed a small issue with the Load Instruction Report. The way the ‘LIR’ was issued to fit the bulk hold brought a volu...metric issue to the attention of our on-ground staff. After making some minor changes and communicating with FJ Load Control in Fiji for approval, the team were able to continue packing, have the freight uplifted and still depart 5 minutes earlier than scheduled. Well done Team BNE, fantastic teamwork as always. #groundhandling #aviation #oceaniaaviation
