21.01.2022 Meet the gymnastics coaching team from Messy Haos Vanuatu. These coaches have been participating in weekly Zoom training sessions and the newcomers have recently completed the practical component of the Beginner Coach Accreditation. Gymnastics and KinderGym are fundamental activities in the busy Messy Haos schedule and the pikinini enjoy every minute of it!
21.01.2022 Day 2 of the Oceania Continental Championships saw Jessica Pickering edge out New Zealand's Madaline Davidson by 0.08 in the Female Senior Trampoline, to earn the title of Continental Champion, followed closely be Kira Ward. In the Men's Senior TRP Dominic Clarke and Blake Rutherford took out the Gold and Silver with scores of 59.895 and 57.790 respectively. In the Rhythmic Gymnastics Liidia Lakovelva took out the Gold with Alexandra Kiroi-Bogatyreva earning Silver and Ashari Gill winning Bronze. 20.01.2022 After 5 years of commitment, passion and dedication, Darlene Underwood is stepping aside as President of the Gymnastics Federation of Fiji. OGU wishes to thank Darlene for everything that she has done for our sport in our region. Darlene was instrumental in establishing the first Gymnastics Federation in a developing country in Oceania in 2015 and made a significant contribution to the establishment of the Oceania Gymnastics Union, becoming an OGU Director at the inaugural G...eneral Meeting in 2018. As President of GFF, Darlene has hosted two meetings of Oceania Federation Presidents and the Fig Gym Presidential Commission and Executive Committee in Fiji. Darlene will always remain a friend of gymnastics and plans to continue in her judging role. We wish her all the best - she will be missed, but not forgotten. GFF will shortly announce the appointment of their new President and new Board members. See more

The OGU Gymnastics for All Committee will work with, provide advice to, and make recommendations to the OGU Secretary General and / or delegated OGU Board member/s regarding the delivery of strategic and operational outcomes for the gymnastics discipline of Gymnastics for All (GfA). 15.01.2022 Happy Universal Children's Day! Our children are our future - let's do everything we can to keep them safe! In 2019 Tim and Bec Robertson from Peninsula Gymnastics conducted a voluntary gymnastics development visit to Fiji and were warmly welcomed by this AeroGym Fiji Community. Child safeguarding is a priority of Gymnastics Federation of Fiji programs and the Australian Government funded AeroGym Fiji.
13.01.2022 Participants in the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade funded Pacific Sports Partnership "Building Leadership Capacity of Woment in Sport" workshops and Australia in Fiji High Commissioner John Feakes were treated to an AeroGym routine today in Nadi. Great work athletes and coaches - the routine is really coming along!

10.01.2022 "Friendship" - one of the four "F"'s of Gymnastics! These Aerobic Gymnasts came together to train for the recent AeroGym Fiji Showcase and experienced Fun, Fitness, Fundamentals and Friendship. Now that the event is over, they plan to continue training towards their next goal. This team are coached by Gymnastics Federation of Fiji SDO Sulueti Nada Buna, a participant in the 2019 "Building Leadership Capacity of Women in Sport" workshop series and proof that sport can be a vehicle for providing women with development opportunities to reach their leadership potential! AeroGym Fiji, the Showcase and workshops are made possible by Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pacific Sport Partnerships funding.

07.01.2022 On this International Day of People with Disability we remember that Not All Disabilities are Visible! These Community Recovery Outreach Program (CROP) participants who have often experienced mental illness find that their daily AeroGym sessions help them to "forget to stress." AeroGym Fiji is an Australian Government funded Pacific Sport Partnership program with objectives being: improved health related behaviours through participation in regular exercise, disability inclusion and improved leadership capacity of women.

Gymnastics friends from around the world came together virtually to learn about the upcoming event and the experiences that Amsterdam has to offer.

Improved health related behaviours through participation in regular exercise and disability inclusion are two of the objectives of the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Pacific Sport Partnerships funded AeroGym Fiji program.
