23.01.2022 PHEW! Exactly a week ago since I got back from Perth and this little guy is my current situation! Id hoped to lay a little low last week after a full-on few days in Perth but that did not play out... Instead, I had 2 discovery calls and pitched another absolute DREAM potential client (fan-girl moment), did some networking plus pressed go on some automation for my client (with fingers & toes crossed!) to streamline her processes. 22.01.2022 "Plan your work and work your plan" - Napoleon Hill Ive been feeling seriously overwhelmed recently by all the "things" we have coming up and stuff in my head that I want to do before Xmas...which feels like it will be here tomorrow! I usually plan for my week on a Monday morning (when Im super-organised Ill do it Sunday night), but today Ive planned out the rest of the YEAR! Feeling so much more in control now.

20.01.2022 Last week I attended a fantastic face-to-face workshop on SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) - to find out more about getting my website found on Google and make recommendations for my clients. This week I dialled into a webinar on Digital Marketing and SEO. I feel like I have just scratched the surface but have been making small tweaks to my site to get some Google love...but as both facilitators said (like famous hair ad) "it wont happen overnight, but it will happen!"

I will admit I am always cautious of industries/networks/groups dominated by women (women often = bitchy, right?!) but this is, hands down, the most encouraged and supported I have felt in my career. The content was so relevant, we met interesting (and funny) women and as an added bonus a little self-care was included with a movie and popcorn! So many business events speak of self-care and timeout from your business to look after YOU but how many actually do it?

06.01.2022 Im back from a quick family visit in NZ with the kids. Whilst Ive been slack on Facebook, Ive kept up with all my client work and managed some downtime too. So glad to be able to travel and take my work with me. This trip I had an extra special "helper" - my boy Dez! (After this photo he put his head on the laptop making typing somewhat challenging!) Dezzy went to live with my Mum when we packed up our life and went travelling 18 months ago. He followed me around and stuck to me like glue...pressure is on now from the kids to bring him home! #flexibleworking #travel
