Following the Governments recent announcement about everyone needing to stay at home unless for essential reasons, we asked the Premiers Office to clarify what this new advice meant for recfishing. This was their response: ... ------------------------------------------------------------ To protect our community and reduce the spread of COVID-19, weve introduced restrictions that limit both indoor and outdoor non-work gatherings to two persons only. Western Australians should follow four simple guidelines. That is, everyone should be staying home unless for: - shopping for what you need like food or necessary supplies; - medical or health care needs, including compassionate requirements; - exercise, in compliance with the public gathering requirements ; and - work or study, if you cant work or learn remotely. 03.01.2022 NEW RESCUE BOAT The Busselton Marine Rescue crew has a big weekend ahead, officially unveiling its new rescue boat, which cost half a million dollars. Its a major boost for the local volunteers, who carry out up to 55 rescues a year.
