17.01.2022 With Clam Blitz coming tomorrow, we will be running a blind, scrambled-teams tournament this Wednesday evening to celebrate the new mode! There is no need to sign up as a team, since players are being scrambled anyway - but we do ask that participants dont play too much Clam Blitz before the tournament starts, since we want the experience to be as fresh as possible for everyone involved! The tournament starts at 7 PM AEDT (9 PM for New Zealanders, 6:30 PM for SA, 6 PM for QL...D, 5:30 for NT, 4 for WA). Running from the 6th to the 8th of December, it’s going to be jam-packed with more Smash tournaments than you can shake a stick at, plus a whole bunch of traditional fighting games and a few micro-tournaments for weird and wacky niche games (including Killer Queen Black!) Splatoon players will be able to sign up with a dedicated Splatoon pass for $25 - we’re also pleased to be offering a ...special offer for a team pass at $60 for four Splatoon players - that’s $15 each, tell your friends! Event schedule Friday 6th: doors open from 6 pm No organised Splatoon events, but the venue will be open for anyone wanting to pick up their pass and say hi! 10.01.2022 Check out the prizes for our upcoming Adelaide LAN event! Well be giving these away this Saturday so make sure to come along!

10.01.2022 There are some great Splatoon events coming up for players in Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth! First up is the 3v3 Turf war event being run by Nintense Gaming and EB Games Swanston St Vic on Saturday 7th October! Head over to their page for more details. Then on Sunday 8th October, Perth gets its first Splatoon meetup at Escape Portal. Its a free meetup run by cool members of the WA Splatoon community.... The Sunshine State Squids are running their second meetup at a new venue - The Caxton Hotel - on Wednesday 11th October. The Splatoon activities are part of a larger Nintendo Night with Smash Bros and Mario Kart tournaments also taking place! And on October 21st, were running a Heaps Fresh LAN in Adelaide at the CyberGamer Studio. Well have a bunch of screens available and plenty of space for a day of Nintendo fun. 08.01.2022 In anticipation of ESLs 2018 AUNZ Splatoon Cup, Oceanink Squids will be running two Turf War warmup tournaments. Week 1 will feature the original 8 maps that released with the game and Week 2 will use the 9 maps introduced post-release. We hope teams will use the limited maplists to practice strategies and specific loadouts for each map. Week 1 start: Saturday 17th March, 1pm AEDT... Week 2 start: Saturday 24th March, 1pm AEDT You can sign up to one or both of the tournaments, they will be run as separate events. You can register for each one by filling in the form twice or editing your response once you know your availability. Format will be decided based on registration numbers. 03.01.2022 Hey folks, weve got another LAN coming up for Sydney, this Sunday August 19 at the UTS Underground. As usual, this event will run alongside the Smash 4 tournament. Entry for competitors will be $10 to cover venue fee. Smash events will cost an additional $5 per event, but Splatoon players will just need to pay the venue fee. Well be holding the 4v4 tournament and Salmon Run challenge as in previous events, and there will also be a 1v1 tournament on the day. The exact format... will be detailed at the venue. As a reminder, please label any gear you are bringing, including your Switch, dock, HDMI/power cables, controller, and also LAN adapter if you have one. If you plan to play handheld, please consider bringing a USB-C to A adapter to make things run a bit more smoothly with the LAN setup.
