17.01.2022 Viral fragments of COVID-19 have been confirmed in sewage at Hervey Bay's Pulgul wastewater facility and at the Maryborough wastewater facility during testing t...his week, offering a timely reminder that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should get tested. The fragments could either indicate the presence of an undiagnosed case of COVID-19 in the community or that a case who is no longer infectious is still shedding fragments of the virus. The fragments themselves are not infectious.
