25.01.2022 It’s September! Here’s the reading from The Ocean Oracle. We are offered the wisdom of Rosa rugosa - Integrity; supported by Driftwood - Journey. The energy feels lighter and more hopeful (at least to me) ... What about you? How are you traveling?

25.01.2022 December is here! And the Wisdom of Conch, from The Ocean Oracle, offers us Home Coming. I think it’s a good message for December. Keep well and stay safe. 2021 is just around the corner...

23.01.2022 In The Ocean Oracle, card 29 is Nautilus - New Beginnings. The picture I used isn’t actually of a nautilus shell but does have the golden ratio spiral design on it, which I always associate with Nautilus. The shell in the card is abundant where I live and I find them most days on my beach walks. My husband told me that they are like a door that other shells use to close themselves up. I thought he was telling me a tall tale! Recently, though, I saw one still attached to its s...ea creature and realised he hadn’t actually been making it up . It got me thinking about all these shells I have found, and continue to find, and how they are cast off when they are no longer needed. We think of discarded things as being less than; no longer desired; unwanted. But when these shells are cast off they stand alone in their own beauty. It’s only that they no longer fit in the environment they have been in. What have you outgrown? Have you outgrown your environment? Is it time for a New Beginning? Remember your beauty is intrinsic and not reliant on something external. Shine in your own light on your own terms. Keep well, Oceanistas! See more

23.01.2022 It’s Monday. It’s been ‘one of those days’. I went to the beach to clear my head and the beach was COVERED in sea weed. More sea weed than I have ever seen in one place. In The Ocean Oracle the Wisdom of Sea Weed is Scattered Thoughts. Well, yeah. That’s my head at the moment. Instead of beating myself up about it I’m choosing to delve into it a bit more and see if anything comes from the chaos. My hope is to find a still point to steady and ground me and offer me a vantage point that is beneficial. How was/is your Monday?

23.01.2022 Low Tide is The Ocean Oracle card of RE-EVALUATION. We are in a new year. It can be a time of new beginnings and starting over (or again). Is there something you need to re-evaluate? Is it time to start doing things differently? There’s no right or wrong here. Just a gentle reminder to stop, look around, reassess and perhaps re-evaluate something that is no longer working for you. It may also be a time of looking at what IS working for you and making sure to keep going with whatever that is. Here’s to ocean breezes and healing waters

23.01.2022 I’ve been contemplating the energy of late. It feels very stop/start and abrupt at times. Are you finding that, too? Looking for kinder, and hopefully truer words to use, I come across flow and stillness. Same idea - starting something and then stopping, or resting; but flow and stillness imply a gentleness of choice not necessarily found in the energy of stopping and starting. Where is your flow taking you right now? Into Stillness? Into the Deep?

22.01.2022 It’s August! This month The Ocean Oracle offers us the Wisdom of Rock Pool and High Tide - Reflection and Abundance. July was rather chaotic on a number of levels. August already feels like it will be more peaceful and joyful. Well, here’s hoping anyway! How are you feeling as we enter this new month?

21.01.2022 Ocean greetings, everyone! I’ve said before that often times I won’t know where people have come across The Ocean Oracle but every once in awhile I do hear from someone with their own story. One such person recently contacted me because she wanted to write about her experience with the deck for Lumletter - a German publication. She has graciously allowed me to share the link here. It’s in German but she did translate it for me and if anyone wants to read it in English, let me know! Huge gratitude to Tamara http://lumletter.lumnettahexen.de//the-ocean-oracle-von-/

21.01.2022 Who thought this would be our world this year? If you’re finding yourself a little on edge I’d say you’re not alone. The barrage of news can cause the strongest to feel anxious. The message I received today at the beach was through the Wisdom of Fog - STILLNESS. And finding stillness in the chaos. It wasn’t a foggy day, per se, but there was sea mist blanketing the ocean. It felt like a calm cover over the turbulent sea. It got me thinking about how important it is to find that stillness within us throughout the day and throughout these turbulent times. Oceans of love

19.01.2022 I needed to see this right now. How about you?

18.01.2022 Sometimes it’s easy to forget (or hard to remember?) how vast we are. We get caught up in life stuff, dealing with everything pulling on our time and energy. This can be overwhelming. Remember to be kind to yourself (and others!), take time out where and when you can. Breathe. You are Eternal Vastness. You are Ocean.

18.01.2022 The October reading of The Ocean Oracle reminds us of the importance of Flexibility through the Wisdom of Clam. It feels like the perfect message to help us navigate this month. Energies are going to be chaotic from all accounts so remembering our flexibility may be helpful.

18.01.2022 Here is The Ocean Oracle Reading for 2021. We discuss how Honeysuckle, Crab and Sea Glass offer the Story and Messages of Secrets, Lateral Thinking and Transformation! Might just be worth a listen ... Wishing everyone a safe, healthy and blessed new year

17.01.2022 The Ocean Oracle energy for March is Stillness. Have a listen to find out why this is exactly perfect for right here, right now. Oceans of gratitude to you all

15.01.2022 In The Ocean Oracle, Pebble shares the Wisdom of Remembrance. Remembering today those lost.

15.01.2022 My morning walks are usually solitary, a chance for me to have some time out, to think, process, and wander the laneways and trailheads of my mind. I love listening to all the sounds that accompany me on the walks and I rarely use my ear pods. This morning, though, was different. I had the strong sense I needed to listen to Cindy Kallet*. As I was wandering down the beach with Cindy Kallet singing her beautiful lyrics in my ears, I was looking at the ocean and the beach befor...e me and saw a perfect conch shell. And then another and another and another. All sorts of different conch shells. Home Comings everywhere. Normally this beach is full of the little nautilus shells, which in The Ocean Oracle offer the wisdom of New Beginnings. But today it wasn’t New Beginnings. It was Home Coming. Coming home. I’m not sure what it means (for me or you) but I do know it makes me feel hopeful. What are you coming home to? *(If you’ve never heard of, or listened to, Cindy Kallet and you like folk music, the ocean, sailing, islands, and or the beach, then I highly recommend you give her a go.)

13.01.2022 Just in case you need a reminder today Monthly Reading for December coming soon (I hope...)

12.01.2022 This morning’s walk showed me Kelp (and a lot of it!) whose wisdom is Strength. It seemed an apt message for this just-post-solstice/eclipse energy. Remember your roots, your history, where you come from. Let yourself draw strength from your past to move you forward. The past can guide you but the present is where you set yourself up for the future. Use the strength from the past but don’t let it hold you down or hold you back. It is a brand-new day and a brand-new world. Don’t let your past eclipse your future. Find your Strength because you’ve got this

11.01.2022 Today’s beach walk showed me a couple possibilities for messages. Both involved Sandbars; 1 with Seaweed and the other with Seagulls. I took this photo on our way down the beach. On our return (5 minutes later) the sandbar was gone. I guess that’s a message in itself: when you are drifting along life’s currents and you need to put your feet down and stop for a time, do so because the current can change quickly and the respite you seek/need/want may have already passed you by. Since this one is with Seagull - it has the added message to have Faith in where you put your feet down for that respite. Keep well and stay safe. And remember kindness is something we can all use more of - for ourselves and towards others.

10.01.2022 In The Ocean Oracle RESILIENCE is represented by the Wisdom of Sea Heather. This isn’t a photo of Sea Heather but I believe any flowering plant which grows near the sea shows definite resilience to maintain its ability to not only grow, but to flourish. I was thinking how we humans are like that, especially right now - I think we should all be reminded of how resilient we are. These last 6 months have been trying for everyone in regards to the pandemic. Add to that all the other life things going on for us individually and collectively and one word that can really sum all of that up is ... yup, resilience. Go, us!

09.01.2022 Solstice sky this morning. This soothes my soul. Happy solstice, ocean people!

09.01.2022 How did you go in June? Ready for a break? I'm not sure July will bring respite but we do have some really supportive energy to help us feel the best we can. The overall theme for July is RE-EMERGENCE with a support of NEW BEGINNINGS. Big energies for a powerful time. For me here on the northeast coast of Australia I am feeling a lot of support by the (almost) daily sightings of the whale migration, coupled with the (almost) daily sightings of dolphins close to shore. Humanity may be struggling in these times but aspects of nature are flourishing. Nature is a great support for us always, but especially now. Make sure to get outside and breathe. Stay well, stay safe and look after yourself and those you love.

09.01.2022 The Ocean Oracle reading for April is here! This month we are offered the Wisdom of Seagull - Faith. Have a listen to hear my thoughts on that ...

08.01.2022 When you are always scanning the horizon sometimes you miss what is right in front of you. On my walk yesterday I was looking out towards the horizon for signs of whales. It was a calm day and not much was going on out there. Lately there have been a lot of dolphins close to shore so I looked down into the water in front of me and there was a whale. A whale! You can see its black shape under the ER in the photo with a small spray plume. In The Ocean Oracle deck Whale wisdom ...is Re-emergence. It is very much a coming back to self card. Lately, and I know I am not alone in this, I have had feelings of disconnection and seem to be carrying a low, and sometimes roiling, level of grief in my person. This card reminds us of our past and asks us to reconnect to it as a way of seeing who we are now and how we got to where we are now. It’s a gentle reminder of the magic and connection we get through nature and the ecosystem. It also reminds us to look at what is in front of us and not overlook the familiar for what may be out of reach on the horizon. Is it time for you to come back to who you are?

08.01.2022 The Ocean Oracle reading for November is here! For anyone feeling stressed, anxious, out of sorts etc, this really may calm the frayed nerves and soothe the soul. How is November going for you so far? Sending waves of Oceanic love to you

03.01.2022 As I was looking at the ocean, watching the waves, I wondered what message was there for us. The Wisdom of Waves is Cycles in The Ocean Oracle, and I watched them for awhile waiting. There is nothing permanent about a wave. They build and form and grow and then crash or break, over and over again. which made me think, ‘This, too, shall pass’. It is one of my go to mantras, this too shall pass, and especially during this time it is something I believe we can all learn a lesson from. Right now it is really hard to accept some things. But, like the waves, this cycle too shall pass. For now, staying present to what is in front of us can help calm the anxiety of the larger picture. Keep well. Stay safe. Oceans of love coming your way
