02.01.2022 Raise your hand if this question is going around in your head. The many times I hear: I need to get fit before joining you guys! Or ... I could never keep up with the others! Or My swimming is way to sh*t to join your group! You guys, I am literally here to help you improve your fitness and swimming YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE FIT OR AN AWESOME SWIMMER TO JOIN SWIMFIT! So now you know We welcome all level of swimmers to our awesome Swimfit crew. We all cheer each other on, we all get a great workout and we all feel awesome after Swimfit is not a scary swim squad with a big swim set written out in special swimmers language that you don’t understand. It’s just me on the side of the pool explaining to you what to do next, how to swim a bit better and cheering you on. Yes I will push you out of your comfort zone, but that’s exactly what we need to reach our goals right? Take Nat for example. She joined Swimfit in January last year thinking it would be a bit of water aerobics She could not swim a whole lap (25m) of freestyle without stopping. So at first she would swim 1 lap at the time, trying to make it without having to stop. Along the way I would give her tips on how to swim better and by consistently showing up and giving it her best, Nat is now one of our top swimmers! The difference we can make in 1 year It all comes down to this wonderful quote: You don’t have to be great to start, you have to start to be great Hopefully this long bla bla post has helped you to overcome this misperception and fear in your mind And I don’t want to speak for all fitness coaches, but this is probably true for most fitness classes out there. We all became a coach to help people like you to reach your goals.
