21.01.2022 FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS AT THE OCLINIC All routine follow up appointments at the OClinic (with the exception of gastric band adjustments) will now be conducted over the phone. Please make sure you have your blood test done 10-14 days prior to your appointment. Your referral for this would have been emailed to you after your last consultation. If you don't have the referral, please call us on 8197 9595 and we will email another one to you. On the day of your consultation: ... 21.01.2022 ELECTIVE SURGERY UPDATE Elective surgery has now resumed at the private hospital at a reduced capacity. We are hopeful that we will be able to schedule surgery for the Concord Hospital Program soon although the waiting time will be much longer now due to COVID-19. Patients waiting to rebook surgery at Concord will be contacted as soon as we are able to confirm surgery dates with the hospital. Thank you for your patience as we all move towards the 'new' normal. 11.01.2022 ELECTIVE SURGERY UPDATE The Federal Government have made announcements today about resuming elective surgery. When and how the current restrictions will be lifted is up to the State Government and we will have to wait until we are given further clarification from the hospitals. We will be in contact with patients who are waiting for surgery as soon as we have more information and will update our Facebook page as we have more news.

06.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE - APPOINTMENTS AT THE CLINIC Dear Patients, We are committed to limiting the spread of COVID-19 and protecting our valued patients and staff. Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases, all consultations with Dr Taylor, our bariatric physicians, dieticians, and psychologists will now be conducted with you by telephone, you will not need to physically attend the clinic. Your existing appointment time slot will remain unchanged and we will call you for your co...nsultation. The only patients who will still be required to physically attend the clinic will be those requiring gastric band adjustment and those booked for an initial assessment with our bariatric physicians for the Concord Program. However, we would ask these patients to postpone your visit if you are unwell with flu-like symptoms, or have visited any COVID hotspots in the past 14 days. Our OClinic staff are here to help Monday to Friday 9am-5pm so please call us if you have any enquiries. Thank you for your co-operation and we hope you and your families/friends remain safe and well.

06.01.2022 TELEHEALTH UPDATE Due to changes announced in the Budget, consultations with our OClinic team, including initial appointments with Dr Taylor, can now be undertaken as Telehealth consultations over the phone. There is no need to come into the Clinic unless you require a gastric band adjustment or you wish to see our bariatric physicians and haven't attended the Clinic in the past 12 months. 04.01.2022 TELEHEALTH UPDATE All new patient consultations with Dr Taylor will now be in person at the OClinic. Telehealth appointments for new patients are no longer available. Follow up consultations with our other practitioners will still be over the phone for the time being (with the exception of those patients requiring gastric band adjustments). Please make sure you have your 3 monthly routine blood tests done 10-14 days before your appointment. If you are unsure about the details of your upcoming appointment, please call us here at the Clinic on 8197 9595.
