25.01.2022 Opening Ceremony for NAIDOC Week 2020 live now.

24.01.2022 There are 1.2 million Australians with communication disability. Every day speech pathologists work with these Australians to provide them with the confidence to communicate. Communication disability is largely invisible. Unseen and out-of-sight. Communication disability takes many forms. It may be present at birth (e.g. cerebral palsy,... hearing impairments and cleft palate), occur as a result of physical, intellectual or sensory disability or a mental illness, emerge during early childhood (e.g. stuttering) or during adult years (e.g. stroke, neck/head cancers), or develop in the elderly (e.g. dementia, Parkinson’s disease). *Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australians Living with Communication Disability, www.abs.gov.au

17.01.2022 Our team and our lovely families are important to us all at ODEEP. Your key worker or ODEEP staff member will chat to you at your next session about the possibility of wearing a mask or a face shield. This is in light of the recent recommendation of the Premier that in cases where it is difficult to socially distance it is recommended to wear a mask. At times our staff at ODEEP (when they are at ODEEP) may be wearing a mask or face shield. If you are going to be visiting us ...at ODEEP and you know that this might cause fear or distress to your child please call ahead to let us know. We will still continue to call you before our visits or before you visit us to ask several health and travel related questions and if you have been in contact with any one else who is unwell or has travelled to a hot spot. And we'd like to assure you that we are regularly cleaning and sanitising at ODEEP throughout each day. Our priority is keeping our families and staff connected and safe. See more

If we won we'd like to use the funds to create a great little vege garden with compost and recycling stations in our play area for our new preschool.... The great news is, we can all vote once a day every day up until 18th June. So I am going to pop a little reminder here every day. Please vote for us today at https://voting.essentialenergy.good2givegrants.org/ We are in Zone Number 9 so just pop the number 9 into the first box and a drop screen will come up and search for Orange District Early education program.
