23.01.2022 The $1000 1-1000 draw will take place on Friday 15th May. Obviously we cant do it like we normally do but the draw will be live on Facebook for all to see during that afternoon. There are still tickets available and still a lot to be handed back in so youve got 3 weeks to do it and perhaps snag yourself some handy cash!

20.01.2022 With the postponement of footy season we planned to still do our $500 key ring draws on the same date, at the same time that were scheduled for at home games but at a couple of our fantastic sponsors, the Beechy hotel and the Gellibrand river hotel. But with the closure of pubs and clubs weve hit another road block! Dont fear though, there will still be 9 draws of $500 at some stage this season, even if they are all on the same day later in the year! In the meantime, we still have a few key rings to sell and chase up those who owe $100 for the ones they have purchased, so get on board and contact Dean Mahoney or Ross Panther if your interested in supporting the club and be in the running to win some cash at the same time.

11.01.2022 ***MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT*** Due to the uncertainty around the coronavirus and with members health and well-being a major focus, we have decided to call off all junior/senior football and netball training this week. We will re-evaluate again next Monday as to future training when more information surrounding the start of the season comes to hand.

04.01.2022 Today we were due to play Lorne FNC at Gellibrand for a significant reason, today marks the 5 year anniversary we lost our mate, captain, coach, brother, son, partner, father, Aaron Bill Mahoney. Its a day that will stay with everyone forever for all the wrong reasons and one that we will never forget for all the right reasons. Bill had an impact on everyone he met weather it be at work, on the footy field or in general life, a hard working, lovable but quiet guy that... had an inner beast that was only revealed on the football field or after a few drinks, even if you hadnt known him very long or you had known him your whole life, every impression he left was of greatness and commitment and THATS why Ill remember that day forever. From everyone at the Otway Districts FNC, we miss you Bill and our thoughts are with Emma, Asha and Toby, Sheryl & Russell, Leigh, Dean and all their extended families today. #36 See more

04.01.2022 ***POSTPONED*** Due to concerns over the coronavirus, the club has decided to postpone our adventure park family day that was due to be on next Sunday 22nd March. As the park is closed during the colder months of the year, we will be looking at late October/early November. As much as wed love for everyone to come on our club day, we understand this wont suit everyone and these tickets can be used anytime so we certainly understand if people still decide to go to adventure park in the next couple of weeks.

03.01.2022 A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: With the announcement that the 2020 CDFNL season will not go ahead, its a great opportunity for all our hard working volunteers to have a break and rest up for a big 2021. There are discussions around a shortened junior football and netball tournament later in the year but that will all depend on changes to restrictions over the next month or two and we will keep everyone posted via our Facebook page. The club are still actively fundraising b...y doing take-away meals from the clubrooms on Friday nights so we appreciate those who have been taking up the offer and supporting us. Matt Zurbo is also doing some fitness/footy training from 5pm onwards on Friday nights which is open to anyone who wants to come for a run around. The key ring draws will also take place on a date to be confirmed once restrictions lift further so once again stay tuned to the Facebook page. A lot of our loyal sponsors who had committed to supporting the club in 2020 have been doing it tough over the last couple of months so now is our chance to help them out wherever possible. 03.01.2022 Reminder that any juniors that require a lift to training at Gellibrand, the bus will leave Colac secondary college by 4.15pm at the latest and return by around 6.45. 02.01.2022 KEY RING DRAWS- a lot of people are asking when we are going to do the 9 x $500 key ring draws. The plan is still to have a day at the clubrooms when restrictions allow and do all 9 draws . However if this is still not possible by early-mid October we will look at just doing the draws live on Facebook

02.01.2022 Im sure most people have heard that we, along with Simpson and South Colac FNC are catering for the Marsh series AFL practice match in Colac next Monday. We need volunteers to help with set-up at about 8.30am-10.30am as well as canteen staff from 1pm-about 7pm (plus pack-up). The main game starts at 4.40 so we dont plan on cooking much food until around 3.30-4 so only after skeleton crew early and then around 15 people when the rush is on. If done right (and all the people at the game are hungry) it should be a good money spinner for the clubs doing the work. Contact Ross Panther if you are available during the day and what times so we can arrange some sort of roster.
