24.01.2022 After several days of procedural debate and evidence by the defence yesterday, closing submissions of the Curfew Supreme Court trial Loielo v Giles will be live-streamed today from 10.30am at the following webpage: https://www.supremecourt.vic.gov.au//live-stream-of-loielo https://www.theaustralian.com.au//b4682c9a213d6f8b53e04b8a

24.01.2022 Public submissions regarding Daniel Andrews’ draconian COVID-19 Omnibus (Emergency Measures) and Other Acts Bill 2020, can now be made to the Parliament’s Scrutiny of Act and Regulations Committee, by 5pm this Wednesday 7/10. Anyone can make their views known via a submission to: [email protected]

23.01.2022 Ahead of tomorrow’s State Budget, will the Andrews Government detail a clear pathway to addressing the significant and concerning delays and case backlogs across the Victorian court system? Prior to COVID-19, our courts already faced lengthy delays and substantial case-loads that demanded action. Now that our courts are cautiously reopening post the COVID-19 second wave, it is imperative that Attorney-General Jill Hennessy and the Government provide sufficient funding to t...he courts to fix the crisis through additional resourcing and innovative solutions. Otherwise, justice delayed, is justice denied. https://www.theage.com.au//jury-trials-to-return-to-victor

23.01.2022 Daniel Andrews told State Parliament that everything was under control, when the reality was no one was in charge, no one knew what was going on and our second ...wave was starting. Daniel Andrews’ constant lies is another reason why thousands of Victorians have no confidence in his government. www.noconfidence.com.au #NoConfidenceLabor

20.01.2022 My members statement to Parliament yesterday, honouring Alan 'Kanga' Moore, a WWII Kokoda veteran and community leader, who later this month will celebrate his 100th birthday.

20.01.2022 Given he wants to be a player on the global stage, in his discussions with Chinese Communist Party officials, how often has Daniel Andrews raised the plight of Tibet, the Uighurs or freedom in HongKong and respect for the Basic Law? https://www.theage.com.au//china-s-gateway-daniel-andrews-

20.01.2022 Pleased to have represented the Victorian Liberal Leader - Michael O'Brien MP yesterday at the Archdiocesan Mass held at St Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne to celebrate the bicentennial of Catholic education in Australia.

19.01.2022 Pleased to table this petition in Parliament today on behalf of the local San Remo community who have serious concerns about the lack of access safety and infrastructure at the new Wonthaggi Secondary College junior campus due to open next year.

16.01.2022 There are many families who are finding it extremely tough at the moment, with the help of Planetshakers South East volunteers Empower Australia Food Relief Cen...tres are ensuring those in need are able to get some food and essential items. Last Sunday I headed to the Pakenham food relief centre to see Pastor Joe and hear what they are doing to help those in the community. If you are need of assistance you can head to 12 Bormar Drive, Pakenham Sundays between 9.30am- 1.00pm. If you would like to donate items head to https://bit.ly/36lv7jr

15.01.2022 The Andrews Labor Government’s agenda to jack up taxes and make Victoria the highest taxing state in the nation presents the greatest risk to stimulating job gr...owth for Victoria’s post COVID-19 recovery. With the Federal Government increasing its payments to Victoria in its budget by more than $6 billion, the Andrews Labor Government will instead hit Victorians with $5.8 billion in new and increased taxes. Despite the Federal Government giving the greatest financial assistance to Victorians during lockdown through JobKeeper and JobSeeker, the Andrews Labor Government will instead slug Victorians with larger and more expensive family and small business taxes.

14.01.2022 On this Remembrance Day, we remember and honour all who have fallen in giving the ultimate sacrifice. Lest We Forget

14.01.2022 The Liberal Nationals have listened to the experts Daniel Andrews has ignored. Victoria can re-open safer and sooner under our plan. It is time for Victorians to have hope for the recovery of our state.

12.01.2022 The Andrews Labor Government’s latest budgeted State Net Debt numbers are just staggering and demonstrate a government that is throwing caution to the wind and spending like a drunken sailor under the cover of its COVID-19 pandemic response. In comparison to the last year of the forward estimates of the Napthine Coalition Government’s 2014-15 Budget, under Daniel Andrews net debt in 2023-24 will reach $154.8 billion compared to $19.5 billion an increase of nearly 8 times! And comparing actual net debt levels prior to the COVID-19 pandemic reveals that Labor was already on an excessive spending spree. Labor’s actual net debt result in the 2019-20 of $44.3 billion is more than double the actual net debt under the previous Coalition government of $21.5 billion in 2013-14 (revised budget estimate).

12.01.2022 Labor’s budget borrows more than any in Victorian history. But one area has been singled out for cuts: the anti-corruption commission and Parliament’s oversight committees. The Premier denies it but the truth is there in black and white - Labor is muzzling Victoria’s anti-corruption and oversight bodies.

10.01.2022 Today I’m pleased to wear at Parliament House this beautiful poppy, hand made by my constituent and friend, Ms Phyliss Bould. Phyliss devotes much of her time to making and selling these poppies, donating the proceeds to our veterans. On this Remembrance Day we should remember all those who have served our great country, as well as people like Phyliss who do so much to honour the legacy of our veterans.

09.01.2022 The Liberal Nationals want to see a small business, jobs-led recovery. Not Labor’s approach to tax, tax & tax Victorians! Watch my interview with Mike Amor on Channel 7 here:

08.01.2022 Attorney-General Jill Hennessy was brought in to take charge of hotel quarantine following the shocking failures that led to the COVID-19 second wave. Unfortunately for Victorians, she’s been just as incompetent at managing this system as her predecessor. https://www.heraldsun.com.au//bd3b88bf2b7b44cb33d11a32f1d6

05.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of Mental Health month. This year’s theme is ‘Tune In’. Especially in Victoria, with what we are all going through, it’s important to... Tune In to yourself and what you are feeling right now. This has been a tough year for us all. Take a moment to check in on yourself and on others around you. http://mentalhealthmonth.wayahead.org.au/about-mental-heal/

04.01.2022 My letter last Friday to the Director of Public Prosecutions, Kerri Judd QC, regarding the Jackson Williams sentencing decision in the County Court. https://www.heraldsun.com.au//b1205d5ed8e82d1f78aef7696c98

03.01.2022 While Victorians are suffering, the Labor Government is at war with itself. https://www.heraldsun.com.au//51c87f3c869573284509592cb663

03.01.2022 Another critically important reason why the Liberal Nationals have called for the establishment of a Royal Commission to get to the bottom of the many still unanswered questions into the Andrews Government’s botched Hotel Quarantine program. https://www.heraldsun.com.au//068e5ed6740e1232f2e75cde4fdc

02.01.2022 Another young woman’s life cut short, another family ruined by an alleged offender who was released into the community, rather than being held in custody. Our justice system continues to fail so many. https://www.heraldsun.com.au//30922c4566436e157c21f04f97c5
