16.01.2022 The Philanthropic Collective is a registered non-for-profit charity serving our hills community of the Dandenong Ranges in Victoria. Our small organisation, powered 100% by volunteers, achieve large support outcomes through our Free Food Program. This is only made possible by the relationships we share with organisations such as Outer East Foodshare, which we respect and treasure. It is through this relationship that we have been able to sustain our food programs with their g...enerous support of OzHarvest Melbourne food boxes. Our weekly Oz Harvest delivery has come as a welcome relief to our program with many in tears receiving them with gratitude. We very much appreciate to be part of the program as our supplies are never 100% secure from day-to-day. A huge relief for the many seniors, single parent families and families to have a steady supply of support. Just imagine for a moment, if you can, the difference in your world of not having the worry about how you are going to feed yourself or your children. Simply knowing that this will be available each week has taken a great deal of stress out of people’s lives as the daily struggle to provide the very basics is given some respite. Oz Harvest food boxes literally have changed the lives of all those which receive them. We are truly grateful to be in a position to supply them knowing there are many families just like ours who remain on waiting lists. Our words of thanks seem inadequate to our friends at Outer East Foodshare and Oz Harvest for this lifeline, only our tears are talking. https://philanthropic.org.au/projects/free-food-program/

12.01.2022 We are continually looking for ways to make it easier for our supporters to make a donation. We have now set up a dedicated page for credit card payments. You can donate as a one off payment or set up weekly or monthly options. No matter what you can spare, every little bit helps. Non credit card donation options will be coming soon (watch this space). As we are a Deductible Gift Recipient any donation over $2.00 is tax deductible. If you would like to support what we do fina...ncially follow the link below. We will then send you a Tax Invoice. https://outereastfoodshare.raisely.com/ Thank you for your support. We really appreciate it.

07.01.2022 "It has been a real loss to us not having the generous donors who come and eat and donate and subsidise the people who can't afford to pay", founder Shanaka Fer...nando said. Since March, the restaurants have provided 130,000 free meals for vulnerable Australians and the international students who have been struggling to fend for themselves.
