24.01.2022 We've all had a day like this haven't we? Darby Scott brought up his first ton since U14s and did it in style. 210 off 136 balls with twenty 4s and twelve 6s.

18.01.2022 Due to rain today and forecast overnight all Saturday games are called off. This does not impact the 4th XI. We will run centre wicket training from midday tomorrow.

08.01.2022 The Weekend Wrap - 1st XI PEGS sent Altona Roosters in to bat and began well with a couple of early wickets. The Roosters steadied however and made their way to 2/96 and a position of strength. A great spell from Mitch Foley and Hugh Lovell turned the game back in PEGS favour as the opposition was held to 150 off 39.3 overs. Lovell finished with 4/21 off 8 and Foley 1/26 off 8, while Pishan Hewage again was handy with 3/23 off 7.3 overs. In reply PEGS was in all sorts at 5/50... before Lucas Elliott and Sam Ainsworth combined for a 65 run partnership. At 7/116 there was still plenty to do when Lovell joined Elliott and they put on another 35 to get us home with 9 balls and 3 wickets to spare. Elliott was brilliant at the top of the order with 73no to be the cornerstone of the batting effort. We move to 4-4 with 2 draws and remain a game and a half outside a finals spot.
